I see signature now. For instance on your signature it's a kitty and some previous posts that are dear to you and for Ugly it's a song. I get it. A signature is something that means A LOT to you, or perhaps a wisdom you ascribe to. Your kitty has a sweet face.

I have a new question. I know this will sound dumb but concerning "friends" how exactly do you get them ..and when you put your "request" in for one and they dont respond, just like in other places it generally means they don't want friends, right? And also when you DO make a friend what do you do with them? Is there a private chat button here? I mean, what are friends for on Christian Chat?

You get friends by people sending you a friend request or you sending them one and yes sometimes them not accepting it may mean they don't want to be friends but a lot of times people take a while to respond.Like i have this horrible habit of leaving my cc tab open when i am busy and sometimes people think i am online because it says i am and I only realize they sent me a request or a pm 5 hours later and feel horrible lol

And then when you get a friend what can you do together? I mean, I don't see a messenger format and it's not like we each have individual rooms of our own to visit...so what does it do besides add color to the little friend box?

Well,
I'll use a person's friend list to see if they are okay to talk to.

Ex)
If someone sends me a friend request I'll go to their profile and look at their friend list, if there isn't at least like 5 peeps I trust on here as their friend I'll usually avoid that person

Well no there isn't anything like that it's basically just a list of people you really like. I am to nice and accept any friend request i receive lots of people read my post like it or rep it then send me a request some i never even hear from again lol. I need to maybe clean my cluttered friend list i have over six pages and i never see most of them lol

Ha
There are trolls here who want to come after little teen girls and
1) try to scare the bees out of them
Or
2) Well, you can probably guess..

A common one here is Jack. Banned more than 100 times.

I see why it's good to look at profiles first too because one person I was going to friend request put it straight up on the profile "don't even think about it , I don't accept friend requests " LOL.

Can anyone explain a term called "reputation points"?

Reputation points are a vague area. See how users have little green dots under their avatar? Those are reputation points. Last i heard, from an admin, the reputation points system is not really understood, even by the site owner. Some people here claim to have it figured out, but they are all in contradiction to each other. It's likely linked to giving someone Rep (as discussed earlier). But how it all connects is unknown.
The reason the site owner doesn't know is that the site is based on an existing template. It just allows a lot of customization. So the base of the site is around this template which is where the Rep system comes from.

Cerwin, clicking the button on the bottom right that says "Reply With Quote" of a post you want to respond to will shows the name of the person, and a copy of their post, that you are responding to. This way it alerts people to who you are talking to, and what they said that you are responding it.

Ah ...like this ? Thank you for info. I thought it meant I had to quote scripture included in my replies , or "wisdom quotes " or something.
