.

  • Use the third little icon from the right up above the text box you type in. (The icon is a picture of a tree with a frame around it.)

  • Hit that icon and a pop-up box appears labelled "Insert image".

  • Cut and paste the URL into that pop-up box, and ENTER.

  • Win! :)

Or maybe you didn't mean an image from the Internet? That I'm not sure about.

You stash the picture somewhere else on the internet, grab the URL and put it here between image tags. Tinypic.com is a free site, easy to use. There are others that are also free. A quick google should turn up someplace you can put a picture and grab a URL for it.

you can only post images via URL in private messages, but for regular threads you should have the option to upload an image or link an image via URL.

some of us don't. i used to be able to upload from my pc, and one day, voilà, nope!

thus my unwieldy copy/paste of images, because, yeah, yeah, 3rd party image hosting site, and so on, but honestly?

nah. ;)
