and about the problem first mentioned in this forum, try un-installing & re-installing your flash player.

The problem I have been having (with regard to this thread) is that I can no longer get into chat using a firefox browser. I have to open a SeaMonkey browser - log into CC again - and run chat from there. I would rather do everything from firefox - which *did* work fine until the past howevermany days when this started.

The flash control box that pops up freezes on firefox (can't even click on Settings), but works on SeaMonkey...
Hmmmmm I have seen that problem before -- even before I made the recent changes -- but only in Firefox. I really think that's a Firefox/Flash bug, albeit it only happens sometimes or when we code the app a certain way.

I just tried in Firefox and it worked fine for me.

Have you tried Chrome?

Anyway there may be more changes soon that may remove the dialog box upon entry but I can't guarantee that right now.

I've always used Firefox and some time ago would experience this problem occasionally. The easiest way to keep it from happening is to right click in chat, then left click on settings, then left click on the icon of the monitor with the eye in it. Click on allow and remember and the site will automatically allow your mic and cam when you enter chat instead of having to click allow every time you enter.

If you ever clear your cookies, you will have to reset this

Also, if you have private browsing enabled, this will not work.

Thanks for the suggestion, but...

What I have italicized and underlined above - is as far as I can get. When the box comes up - it freezes. No response.

Just another "data point"... :)
