I don't need advice, I know the issue I think. I just wanted to mention it in case anyone thinks I'm snobbing them off. I don't have internet at home these days and the couple of places I get to use it have issues that for the most part prevent me from seeing the chatrooms.

I get free wifi at the library, but unless there are few to no other people using it, the connection doesn't support such a highly somethingy thingabob. As in, I can't get the chatroom to load. Sometimes it opens, but nothing appears inside the box. I've been told a couple of times that my name appears in the room, but I don't reply to anyone. This is because I can't see anything!

The other place I sometimes get to use the internet is at a friend's place, where I think possibly they need to update something and they are a bit somethingy about doing so, so I can't go ahead and click update whenever I like. I can sometimes get in, but sometimes the box opens and I can hear blings and pm noises and people talking, but the box is empty.

This area in particular is a black hole for reception anyway. Forget about mobile phonecalls. It's bizzare, you can walk a few houses away and it's fine. It seems to be just this few patches of space that surrounds this house and a couple others.

Anyway that's all. If I'm not answering you, I probably can't see you. Love and miss you all. <3

Ellie, when it comes to that issue, I think I have a similar issue. I closed the chat window and then logged out but I could still hear people speaking even though I logged out and when you log out, it should automatically stop you from hearing the conversation. You are not the only one having a similar issue in regards to this website, it might be due to them moving to a new server. I have Internet Explorer 8.

Lol is that a pregnany pause Siberian Khatru?

I'm not sure how to interpret that.

I hate it when people come to a library and have a good old chatter with a friend. There is a cafe, swimming pool, sporting courts and other things right next door, in the same complex. Why come to a library to socialise? It's well air conditioned I must admit. But if you can't have a quiet place to read and study at the library when you're own home is a noisy environment then where can you go??

Done venting. Sorry. I need to get better at confrontation. Then I can try just asking people to please be quiet. *Sigh*

:p

Maybe you can find a self help book on being thoughtful and aware of one's surroundings there at the library, and thoughtfully and casually pass it along to them. ;)
