Is that true of iPhones too? Since chat is flash based, and iPhones have flash? I have an Android phone, so no flash here.

they really need to ditch flash and go with something better.

It was Adobe's decision to cease development for the Android OS. I'm surprised iOS 6 supports it now. If HTML5 ever wins enough favor, it'll be good riddance.

IOS doesn't support it.
A few app store developers created apps that run flash from a remote server and onto the app.
