Has CC been hacked [Answer from admin: no]

I've been here 7 months, and something weird just happened.

Some type of private message box opened. "Hi, I'm Ammie, and I have some Scriptures to help answer what you have been seeking. Would you care to write to me?" Spam, phishing, right? Well, I closed the box but it would not go away. remained as a small tab at the right side of my screen marked "help". I looked at it again, and I had a similar offer from Allie. It persisted maybe 10 minutes around 7AM Eastern time US (GMT-4) Monday, April 8. Is my computer okay? Is CC okay? Does anyone else have this?

{Answer from admin: no it's not any hacking, it's just something new we were trying out, so don't panic :) .}

I had a similar thing, asking to help me with my search. Same little pop-up chat from the right hand side of the main screen.

I got the same thing, I even searched this Ammie person. She's not part of CC at all.

I got the same thing, too. Not a fan. It happened to me another time before except it was a fella's name/pic. Been scared to do any online banking since. :p

I got this as well. There was a link attached to this PM box, that was not CC. I would say something phishy is up. buh dum psh!

I didn't have the experience you have had. But when I tried logging into CC earlier, I kept getting redirected. That went on for an hour or two.

Answer: No. :)

The live agent was a test of something. We goofed, it wasn't supposed to show to all members but did momentarily.

That's what I was speaking of. I kept being redirected to a site saying the domain had not been renewed or was pending cancellation or something to that effect.

Thanks, RoboOp. As long as it is YOU FOLKS doing it, I will try answering next time. Or maybe I should wait for some instruction to see if is something I want to use?

You tell me this AFTER I donated all of my clothes to Annie. I had to come to work dressed in a bed sheet! (She was very convincing).

I hate to be that guy, but that's exactly what I'd expect a hacker to say...
