Did a search on the site, wasn't able to find an answer.

Searched some of the threads, still no answer.

Questions...

What does the wee little colored dot mean by a member's name? Some are yellow, some are green.

Some are junior members. Some are senior members. When or how is a member "promoted?"

What does rep power mean? How is that "obtained/earned?"

Was just curious and wanted to ask. :)

Thank you.

--Green dot - person is online

--Yellow dot – Chatter is online but in invisible mode (Invisible mode allows you to browse the
Forums without appearing in the 'Currently Active Users' lists)

--Senior/Junior - refers to the chatter's number of forum posts. I'm not sure how many posts
it takes to receive either label

--Rep. Power - or ''reputation'' power - Chatters receive rep. power points from other chatters who
click the star icon in the lower left hand corner of a user's post. Sort of a way to say
“I really like what you are saying.’’

The little dot next to the nic if it is green indicates that the user is logged in.

The membership ranking is an automated system based on total number of posts. I believe it takes 150 posts to hit "Senior Member"

What does rep power mean? How is that "obtained/earned?"
Reputation is given by other users to you, however a lot of users don't utilize the reputation system.
