Is there a way to add a friend but "turn off" all their comments/posts - to not have everything they said in screens and screens when I go to my profile? Some here have gazillions of comments, which is okay, would just like to have the name and picture.

I don' t have an answer, but I decided to keep those few -one- to avoid those massive messages you may have mentioned and, as I know whom I love as real friends (those I wish I had at the corner or next door) I keep them on this screen on several threads CC shows, daily.
