Something that has been some annoyance on this site, is when people come in with extreme loud ear deafening mics as they not sure how loud they are. Which can be annoyance to those who has to use headsets. Also another thing can be annoying, is adjusting the volume controls as each person talks, one minute they are loud, and some are low, so I hold my hands up to say this can be very annoying, having to adjust the vol every time someone talks. I know I could mute the room, but then people can then start to think you are being ignorant. and some people tend to just talk through mics, because some are lazy to type. then thoughts will arise, why have a mic in the first place. and so on and so on.

I'm sure there is an app that will auto level voice control for websites, though I understand the software maybe somewhat expensive.

So as a suggestion, why can't there be a specific chat room, to help people to correct there levels of there mics before they enter there specific room. so when they click on the mic, they immediately enter the mic check room to adjust or to help get there mics working to a more better level.

I know it may be a little more hassle moving from one place to another in order to set right the levels of there mics. But I'm sure its a lot cheaper than to buy an app to do it automatic for the site.

It's only a suggestion, and I'm sure it can be done.

It wouldn't matter if they had a mic set up room. People's volume still will come in at different levels depending on their computer.

I've had great success with a pair of Sony MDR V150 headphones however. They even out the volume on any chatter's mic.

Cool noise canceling headphones, even a better idea. But yeh I guess it would change for each room I guess. But would be nice if there is something to reduce the loud ones hehe

If Grandma says Turn it down!
You turn it down.
It's disturbing to the cat's and dogs,
they can't hear a thing,
while some don't want
to hear a
thing.
Sike...lollllllllllllllll

If your mic level is either too high or too low people will mention it. Usually there are chatters around willing to help out others with mic problems. What's too loud for some, is an exceptable level to others: it's also a speaker problem. So I don't see the need for a seperate 'mic room.' And even if you did manage to find volunteers for such a room, nobody would visit it: people just want to jump right into 'Lounge' and join the fun. :)
