There has to be a way I can search for all my own posts. I sometimes find that google does a better job if I give it my name and a key word than the advanced search options do. This shouldn't be. I find it confusing. What can I do better?

Google is a multi-million dollar corporation with over 40,000 employees, not to mention interns and who knows what else. They scour they internet constantly updating their search options available.
CC is a small Christian chat site ran, built, repaired, upgraded, designed and implemented by one individual, with three sites and a family. Not really a stretch of the imagination to think Google can do a better job, is it?

I understand, but what you're saying is that the search option for google is better than the search option for christian chat of its own site? So the search engine of christian chat isn't regularly upgraded?

click on your own name at the top of the page where it says "welcome, konoroh"

this takes you to your profile page. there, you can either click on the tab at the top center with your name, under "konoroh's activity" -- this will list all your blog posts as well as posts in threads, or you can click on "find latest posts" in the sidebar on the left, to list all the latest posts you've made.

that's what you were looking for, i hope?

He's referring to the actual thread search tool. Trying to find one post among 479 (as he currently has now) by going off our profile pages user activities could be a serious chore.

And Kon, what i was saying is that an international corporation, whose products main goal was the ability to search the internet for accurate responses to our queries is going to do better than a one-man operation on a small chat site funded by user donations.

Here's to the joy of christianchat, and the ease of google. By the way, I don't know if it's public knowledge but who is the one man behind the operation. I'm not asking for his real name, just his profile name, if that's okay to know.
