Help, please Cant type in Chat, cutting and pasting from processor into chat

Hi there,
If there is anyone who can help me understand what i need to do to be able to type in the chat rooms. For some time now I have not been able to type in the chat rooms. I type in word and copy and paste to the chat box and press send for it to display. This is very frustrating and I dont understand why. I am logged in. I can type in the chat mail.

I did try updating Flash.

albertamom, I just answered this question in the "chat is going weird" forum, but I will answer it here as well. IE, Safari (which is no longer supported), Chrome and Firefox all fail to work properly in here for some people. Dont use IE, it's useless!! I have mine turned off. :) Myself and several others here use the Opera browser and have experienced zero issues with it. Try giving Opera a try. :) If you DO download Opera, please pm me and I will help you set it up. It's fairly easy but there is a trick you have to do to unlock power settings!! LOL. :)
