Galatians 4 two separate & opposing covenants.

No person alive today has any relationship or obligation to the Mosaic law covenant.

Why? It was retired here: Matt 27:51, has been replaced with a New Better covenant (Heb 10) & is forever OBSOLETE - Heb 7:21, 22, 8:13, 9:15.

Heb 7:12 For when there is a change in the priesthood, there is of necessity a change of the law as well.
(MY NOTE: Old Mosaic Levitical covenant & ALL its law ordinances (Col 2:13) RETIRED! Replaced by the new covenant Law of Christ > Love God 1st & love & forgive others (Rom 13:8,10, Jn 13;34, Matt 22:37-40)

Heb 9:
15 Jesus is the Mediator of a new covenant [that is, an entirely new agreement uniting God and man], so that those who have been called [by God] may receive [the fulfillment of] the promised eternal inheritance, since a death has taken place [as the payment] which redeems them from the sins committed under the obsolete first covenant.
(MY NOTE: Jesus administers a new covenant that Completely REDEEMS all sins punishment required under the old OBSOLETE now powerless Mosaic law covenant)

16 For where there is a will and testament involved, the death of the one who made it must be established,
(MY NOTE: Jesus death & resurrection RETIRED the old mosaic covenant & ESTABLISHED the new covenant administered by Jesus by our eternal Great High Priest after the Order of Melchizedek)

Heb 8:12 “For I will be merciful and gracious toward their wickedness, And I will remember their sins no more.”
(MY NOTE: New Covenant - ALL the believers sin > Past-Present-Future > Forgiven/Pardoned/Washed Away. NEVER to be remembered)

13 When God speaks of “A new covenant,” He makes the first one obsolete. And whatever is becoming obsolete (out of use, annulled) and growing old is ready to disappear.
(MY NOTE: Old Mosaic law covenant ANNULLED & OBSOLETE!)

Gal 4:
21 Tell me, you who are bent on being under the Law, do you not listen to [what] the Law [really says]?

22 For it is written that Abraham had two sons, one by the slave woman [Hagar] and one by the free woman [Sarah].

23 But the child of the slave woman was born according to the flesh and had an ordinary birth, while the son of the free woman was born in fulfillment of the promise.

24 Now these facts are about to be used [by me] as an allegory [that is, I will illustrate by using them]: for these women can represent two covenants: one [covenant originated] from Mount Sinai [where the Law was given] that bears children [destined] for slavery; she is Hagar.

(MY NOTE: Hagar & Sarah represent 2 different covenants. Hagar represents the Old Mosaic LAW covenant, written on stone & a circumcision made with human hands)

25 Now Hagar is (represents) Mount Sinai in Arabia and she corresponds to the present Jerusalem, for she is in slavery with her children.

(MY NOTE: The apostle compares the Sinai covenant: Quote: "Present day/earthly with slavery")

26 But the Jerusalem above [that is, the way of faith, represented by Sarah] is free; she is our mother.

(MY NOTE: Sarah represents the New from above/spiritual Covenant. Spiritually written on the heart & mind (Heb 8:10 & 10:16) made without human hands (Col 2:11 & Rom 2:29)

27 For it is written [in the Scriptures], “Rejoice, o barren woman who has not given birth;
Break forth into a [joyful] shout, you who are not in labor; For the desolate woman has many more children Than she who has a husband.”

(MY NOTE: In this allegory/parable Hagar, who represents the Mosaic covenant cut on Sinai, has NO husband?
Jeremiah 3:8 And I saw [that even though Judah knew] that for all the acts of adultery (idolatry) of faithless Israel, I [the Lord] had sent her away and given her a certificate of divorce, yet her treacherous sister Judah was not afraid; but she went and was a prostitute also [following after idols]. The LORD gave Sinai a DIVORCE! The Sinai covenant, was a marriage covenant. The Lord calls Himself Israels husband. (Isa 54:5, Jer 31:32)

Eze 16:8 Now when I passed by thee, and looked upon thee, behold, thy time was the time of love; and I spread my skirt over thee, and covered thy nakedness: yea, I sware unto thee, and entered into a covenant with thee, saith the Lord GOD, and thou becamest mine.
(MY NOTE: The LORD say's He spread His skirt of protection over them. Entering in a marriage covenant & they became His)

28 And we, [believing] brothers and sisters, like Isaac, are children [not merely of physical descent, like Ishmael, but are children born] of promise [born miraculously].
(MY NOTE: Believers in Christ's death & resurrection are born miraculously/via Christ's indwelling Holy Spirit)

29 But as at that time the child [of ordinary birth] born according to the flesh persecuted the son who was born according to [the promise and working of] the Spirit, so it is now also.

(MY NOTE: Ever read what the Circumcision/Mosaic covenant LAW THUMPERS did to Stephen, Paul & almost all Jesus chosen disciples?)

30 But what does the Scripture say? “Cast out the bondwoman [Hagar] and her son [Ishmael], For never shall the son of the bondwoman be heir and share the inheritance with the son of the free woman.”

(MY NOTE: Those clinging to a retired/obsolete covenant. (Heb 7:22, 8:13, 9:15, Matt 27:51) CANNOT partake in the new covenant. Time to STOP beating people over the head with it)

31 So then, believers, we [who are born again—reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, and set apart for His purpose] are not children of a slave woman [the natural], but of the free woman [the supernatural].
(MY NOTE: NT believers are BORN/spiritually from God above & have NO PART with the slave woman's covenant cut at Sinai!)

There is one single covenant of grace. Why make things harder?

Exodus 24 is what covenant?

There is also grace there, of course, but it is known as...?

11And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.

Are we the House of Israel and the House of Judah? (Hebrews 8:8)?

Israel means to reign with God. Judah is to Praise God. Are we those people? Study and prayer will reveal all needed to understand.

So God has done this today. Weve literally had this happen to us ?

It's Christ's righteousness (Jer 23:6 & 33:16) imputed/transferred (Rom 4:3-8) onto us & our sins are imputed/transferred onto Christ.

While the Temple was operating the High Priest had authority to Impute/transfer sin (Lev 16:21).

Christ is our Great High Priest (Heb 4:14). Can not only Impute a believers sins onto Himself. Christ can Impute His righteousness onto the believer as well. Whereby we become the righteousness of God in Christ.

Now that Christ has imputed/taken/suffered our due judgment upon Himself. 100% of the believers sins Past-Present-Future = Removed/Forgiven/Pardoned & HIS Perfect Righteousness is imputed on us. Not because of any great works/deeds that we have done. By His Wonderful Grace, & thru Faith Alone, placed in His Great Work & ability to NEVER break covenant.

Sin no longer controls our eternal destiny. Because we are NOT under the laws curses, we are under our Great God & Saviors GRACE!

Rom 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
(MY NOTE: Yee are not under the law, but under grace.)

Rom 5:13 (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.
(MY NOTE: No law - no sin judgment imposed)

Rom 7:6 But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.
(MY NOTE: Now that you have Christ's Spirit in you & His Righteous on you. You're delivered from sins old covenant due judgments.
