Gal 4:
21 Tell me, you who are bent on being under the Law, do you not listen to [what] the Law [really says]?

22 For it is written that Abraham had two sons, one by the slave woman [Hagar] and one by the free woman [Sarah].

23 But the child of the slave woman was born according to the flesh and had an ordinary birth, while the son of the free woman was born in fulfillment of the promise.

24 Now these facts are about to be used [by me] as an allegory [that is, I will illustrate by using them]: for these women can represent two covenants: one [covenant originated] from Mount Sinai [where the Law was given] that bears children [destined] for slavery; she is Hagar.

(MY NOTE: Hagar & Sarah represent 2 different covenants. Hagar represents the Old Mosaic LAW covenant, written on stone & a circumcision made with human hands)

25 Now Hagar is (represents) Mount Sinai in Arabia and she corresponds to the present Jerusalem, for she is in slavery with her children.

(MY NOTE: The apostle compares the Sinai covenant: Quote: "Present day/earthly with slavery")

26 But the Jerusalem above [that is, the way of faith, represented by Sarah] is free; she is our mother.

(MY NOTE: Sarah represents the New from above/spiritual Covenant. Spiritually written on the heart & mind (Heb 8:10 & 10:16) made without human hands (Col 2:11 & Rom 2:29)

27 For it is written [in the Scriptures], “Rejoice, o barren woman who has not given birth;
Break forth into a [joyful] shout, you who are not in labor; For the desolate woman has many more children Than she who has a husband.”

(MY NOTE: In this allegory/parable Hagar, who represents the Mosaic covenant cut on Sinai, has NO husband?
Jeremiah 3:8 And I saw [that even though Judah knew] that for all the acts of adultery (idolatry) of faithless Israel, I [the Lord] had sent her away and given her a certificate of divorce, yet her treacherous sister Judah was not afraid; but she went and was a prostitute also [following after idols]. The LORD gave Sinai a DIVORCE! The Sinai covenant, was a marriage covenant. The Lord calls Himself Israels husband. (Isa 54:5, Jer 31:32)

Eze 16:8 Now when I passed by thee, and looked upon thee, behold, thy time was the time of love; and I spread my skirt over thee, and covered thy nakedness: yea, I sware unto thee, and entered into a covenant with thee, saith the Lord GOD, and thou becamest mine.
(MY NOTE: The LORD say's He spread His skirt of protection over them. Entering in a marriage covenant & they became His)

Back to Gal 4:
28 And we, [believing] brothers and sisters, like Isaac, are children [not merely of physical descent, like Ishmael, but are children born] of promise [born miraculously].
(MY NOTE: Believers in Christ's death & resurrection are born miraculously/via Christ's indwelling Holy Spirit)

29 But as at that time the child [of ordinary birth] born according to the flesh persecuted the son who was born according to [the promise and working of] the Spirit, so it is now also.

(MY NOTE: Ever read what the Circumcision/Mosaic covenant LAW THUMPERS did to Stephen, Paul & almost all Jesus chosen disciples?)

30 But what does the Scripture say? “Cast out the bondwoman [Hagar] and her son [Ishmael], For never shall the son of the bondwoman be heir and share the inheritance with the son of the free woman.”

(MY NOTE: Those clinging to a retired/obsolete covenant. (Heb 7:22, 8:13, 9:15, Matt 27:51) CANNOT partake in the new covenant. Time to STOP beating people over the head with it)

31 So then, believers, we [who are born again—reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, and set apart for His purpose] are not children of a slave woman [the natural], but of the free woman [the supernatural].
(MY NOTE: NT believers are BORN/spiritually from God above & have NO PART with the slave woman's covenant cut at Sinai!)

No person alive today has any relationship or obligation to the Mosaic law covenant.

Why? It was retired here: Matt 27:51, has been replaced with a New Better covenant (Heb 10) & is forever OBSOLETE - Heb 7:21, 22, 8:13, 9:15.

Heb 7:12 For when there is a change in the priesthood, there is of necessity a change of the law as well.
(MY NOTE: Old Mosaic Levitical covenant & ALL its law ordinances (Col 2:13) RETIRED! Replaced by the new covenant Law of Christ > Love God 1st & love & forgive others (Rom 13:8,10, Jn 13;34, Matt 22:37-40)

Heb 9:
15 Jesus is the Mediator of a new covenant [that is, an entirely new agreement uniting God and man], so that those who have been called [by God] may receive [the fulfillment of] the promised eternal inheritance, since a death has taken place [as the payment] which redeems them from the sins committed under the obsolete first covenant.
(MY NOTE: Jesus administers a new covenant that Completely REDEEMS all sins punishment required under the old OBSOLETE now powerless Mosaic law covenant)

16 For where there is a will and testament involved, the death of the one who made it must be established,
(MY NOTE: Jesus death & resurrection RETIRED the old mosaic covenant & ESTABLISHED the new covenant administered by Jesus by our eternal Great High Priest after the Order of Melchizedek)

Heb 8:12 “For I will be merciful and gracious toward their wickedness, And I will remember their sins no more.”
(MY NOTE: New Covenant - ALL the believers sin > Past-Present-Future > Forgiven/Pardoned/Washed Away. NEVER to be remembered)

13 When God speaks of “A new covenant,” He makes the first one obsolete. And whatever is becoming obsolete (out of use, annulled) and growing old is ready to disappear.
(MY NOTE: Old Mosaic law covenant ANNULLED & OBSOLETE!)

I'll bet you were blown away when you began to see how the Old Testament is 100% intertwined with the New Testament. :D

Yeshua did not come to destroy the law but to complete it, to fulfill it. His teachings reveal just what this truly means. It certainly does not make anything obsolete, for He did not say such

Understand what He taught the hypocrites about faith, mercy and justice applied to understanding the working of the law, and much will be cleared.
We must obey, for it is our nature. We must obey our Savior.

Under grace and knowing our salvation is sure in Him this becomes our joy in being.

Yes, of course, as you say yourself. And whatever we call what is referred to in Exo.24 it is included in that ... one single covenant ... of grace.

To paraphrase Wilhelmus Brakel of blessed remembrance:

The author of Hebrew states in express terms that Christ was the same surety in the Old Testament as He was in the New Testament: "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever" (Heb. 13:8). Yesterday pertains to the past; that is, the days of the Old Testament when those were alive of whom verse 7 states that we should follow their faith and consider the end of their conversation.

So is this happening now ?
Heb 8
10For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:

11And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.
Yes!
The old Mosaic covenant was between God & the Nation of Israel only (Ex 19:3 & ALL the Israelis Agreed to it Ex 19:8)

Under the Mosaic Covenant obedience to it's law ordinances brought blessings, disobedience curses (Deut 28).

It's Levitical sin sacrificial system administration only covered & couldn't take away sin (Heb 10:1-4) & was in fact, a constant reminder of sin.

Heb 9:
12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.
(MY NOTE: Only faith is Christ's blood can provide eternal redemption/salvation!)

13 For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh:
(MY NOTE: The blood of bulls & goats & the ashes of a red heifer only purifyed flesh. And could NOT redeem/save a Soul.)

15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.
(MY NOTE: Jesus is mediator of new testament/covenant. Under this New Melchizedek sin administration. Not only are sins removed, Our great High Priest can provide eternal life)

16 For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.
(MY NOTE: Christ had to die & rise to redeem anyone before they could receive the promise of eternal salvation)

Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved

The dividing point between 2 covenants is: Christs death & resurrection.

Mosaic covenant was between God & the Nation of Israel only (Ex 19:3 & ALL the Israelis Agreed to it Ex 19:8)

Under the Mosaic Covenant obedience to it's law ordinances brought blessings, disobedience curses (Deut 28).

Circumcision was an absolute requirement under Mosaic law.

Ex 12:43-48. No foreigners, servants, sojourners or strangers could partake in the in the Passover meal unless they were circumcised.

NT believers aren't required to get circumcised. (Acts 15:24)

It's Levitical sin sacrificial system only covered & couldn't take away sin (Heb 10:1-4) & was in fact, a constant reminder of sin.

New covenant
Matt 26:28 (AMP) For this is My blood of the new covenant, which ratifies the agreement and is being poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.

Matt 26:28 (KJV) For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

This new covenant mediated by Christ Himself. provides complete sin removal & imputes His Righteousness. Onto everyone that will place their Faith/trust in Jesus sin redemptive work. Found in Christ's death, burial & resurrection.

Unlike the inferior Levitical sin management system. Under the New Eternal Melchizedek Priesthood sin administration. Not only are the believers sins removed. Our great High Priest can provide eternal life.

Jesus retired the old priesthood here: Temple veil is torn in 1/2. (Matt 27:51.) It's now OBSOLETE! (Heb 7:22, 8:13, 9:15)

3 days later in Resurrection power the new Melchizedek Priesthood is established. 50 days later the new covenant is invoked (Acts 2:4 Pentecost)

The Presents/Holy Spirit of God no longer dwells in Temples behind a veil.

It now indwells in the heart & mind of every believer (1 Cor 6:19). Jesus completely removes (via imputation) every sin & additionally imputes HIS righteousness into the NT believer. And we become the righteous of God in Christ (2 Cor 5:21)

When Jesus became a curse (Gal 3:13) He REDEEMED every believers from all non-compliance curse penalties invoked from breaking Mosaic law.

All praise, honor & glory to Jesus our Great God & Savior. Amen

Are we the House of Israel and the House of Judah? (Hebrews 8:8)?
No

Acts 2:4 Pentecost JEWS ONLY receive the spiritual outpouring baptism of Christ's indwelling Holy Spirit. This is the fulfillment of the Jer & Heb books & exclusive to Israel. The new covenant promise it later expanded in include gentiles.

The promise of salvation is given 1st to the Jew then to the gentile

It's at Cornelius house (Acts 10) several years after the Acts 2 outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Where Gentile's are granted the spiritual baptism of Christ's indwelling Holy Spirit (See Acts 11:16 below).

Acts 10:
44 While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.
(MY NOTE: As Peter is speaking the Holy Spirit indwells the gentile listeners.)

45 And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost.
(MY NOTE: The believing Jews that came with Peter (the Acts 2 Pentecost speaker) are ASTONISHED that God has granted gentiles eternal life)

Peter shares/revisits his Acts 10 experience
Acts 11:
15 And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning.
(MY NOTE: Christ baptizes with the Holy Spirit (Matt 3:11) And He fills/baptizes gentiles Acts 10;:4)

16 Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost.
(NOTE: Upon returning to Jerusalem Peter explains to the circumcision/Jews that contended with him (Acts 11:2). About Acts 10 gentile receiving of Christ's """baptism with His Holy Spirit""")

Amen
Aside from it literally saying Israel . Has this happened.
I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts
The' law ' in our minds ect ?

Israel means to reign with God. Judah is to Praise God. Are we those people? Study and prayer will reveal all needed to understand.
That's not taking scripture literally.

Scripture does tell me this. Look to the scripture regarding the change of Jacob's name to Israel. Then look to where Leah was given to give birth to Judah. If this is not literal enough for you, read what a true Jew is in Romans.

27 For it is written [in the Scriptures], “Rejoice, o barren woman who has not given birth;

I liked the read , very informative and inspires a lot of consideration one thing I would say just for clarification . the word from above is very important because that’s the word of the covenant blood .

What Moses said is within ishmaels covenant that is cast out of Abraham’s inheritance ,in the allegory Moses words defined the laws of the shadow covenant of the first born flesh sin not made of Gods word like Isaac was who represents Christ and the gospel

the new covenant word is the gospel of the kingdom that Began to be preached after the law and prophets had been preached after Jesus received the holt spirit from heaven

“The law and the prophets were until John:

since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭16:16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

a lot of people talk about being born again and having the “ law “ written on the heart . This only happens because we do this

“Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭1:14-15‬ ‭

believing the gospel received it into and it’s as if it is written on our conscience so that his word guides us through life from within because we believe the gospel it becomes a part of our inner compass in our thinking and decision making

the word from heaven is the gospel that we must believe to enter into the covenant of his blood for remission. The kingdom he himself began preaching is all Made of faith like Isaac was . We have to believe what he said to ever even hear the covenant between God and man
all the prophets and law had promised about a new covenant was being fulfilled when Jesus received the spirit at baptism and began to preach the gospel

Many point to this as proof of the laws detainment of authority

“Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5:17-18‬ ‭KJV‬‬

and it was true until Jesus died and fulfilled the law and prophets he explained what he was saying after his resurrection

“And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.

And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:

And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. And ye are witnesses of these things.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭24:44, 46-48‬ ‭

Jesus fulfilled what the law and prophets had promised would come. Until his death the law was the authority but when he died and rose all his words became everlasting

“And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance. For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭9:15-17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

sometimes we forget that Jesus words are in full effect forever and that only
Moses words are left behind . We still have a word of the covenant that needs to be accepted and let it be written on a heart of faith

The old covenant word and the new

“Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery:

But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5:27-28‬ ‭KJV‬‬

our covenant word is Jesus not Moses

Jesus is speaking to the heart and soul the spirit and he’s speaking Gods truth of we hear and believe it becomes transcribed on our heart if we reject the thkngs we don’t agree with and refuse to believe , the writing on our heart never changes

So God has done this today. Weve literally had this happen to us ?
10For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:

11And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.
Yes & here's some REALLY GOOD NEWS!

ascribe (righteousness, guilt, etc.) to someone by virtue of a similar quality in another.
"Christ's righteousness has been imputed to us"

It's Christ's righteousness (Jer 23:6 & 33:16) imputed/transferred (Rom 4:3-8) onto us & our sins are imputed/transferred onto Christ.

While the Temple was operating the High Priest had authority to Impute/transfer sin (Lev 16:21).

Christ is our Great High Priest (Heb 4:14). Can not only Impute a believers sins onto Himself. Christ can Impute His righteousness onto the believer as well. Whereby we become the righteousness of God in Christ.

Now that Christ has imputed/taken/suffered our due judgment upon Himself. 100% of the believers sins Past-Present-Future = Removed/Forgiven/Pardoned & HIS Perfect Righteousness is imputed on us. Not because of any great works/deeds that we have done. By His Wonderful Grace, & thru Faith Alone, placed in His Great Work & ability to NEVER break covenant.

Sin no longer controls our eternal destiny. Because we are NOT under the laws curses, we are under our Great God & Saviors GRACE!

Rom 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
(MY NOTE: Yee are not under the law, but under grace.)

Rom 5:13 (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.
(MY NOTE: No law - no sin judgment imposed)

Rom 7:6 But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.
(MY NOTE: Now that you have Christ's Spirit in you & His Righteous on you. You're delivered from sins old covenant due judgments.

Rom 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
(MY NOTE: To coin a phrase: Free at last, Free at last Praise/thank our Lord Jesus we are Free at last)

Gal 3:13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
(NOTE: Christ became a curse PAID every curse assessed in (Deut 28) Whereby Redeeming us from them)

Beyond receiving Christ as Lord & Savior by Faith in His sin atoning death & resurrection.

Here's what our focus should be: Love & forgiveness.

AMP Bible
Colossians 3:
12 So, as God’s own chosen people, who are holy [set apart, sanctified for His purpose] and well-beloved [by God Himself], put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience [which has the power to endure whatever injustice or unpleasantness comes, with good temper];

13 bearing graciously with one another, and willingly forgiving each other if one has a cause for complaint against another; just as the Lord has forgiven you, so should you forgive.

14 Beyond all these things put on and wrap yourselves in [unselfish] love, which is the perfect bond of unity [for everything is bound together in agreement when each one seeks the best for others].

Rom 13:8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.

Rom 13:10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

Gal 6:2 Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
(NOTE: Christ's LAW Love!)

Finally although not salvation requirements. Christ invoked to ordinances: Baptism & Communion. Every believer should be lead to partake in both.

Yes I get all of that, but this is all without Hebrews 8 .10-11 .
Why has God put the law in our minds and hearts ?
11And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.
Why do we need to not teach ' know the Lord ' ect ..isn't it the opposite. We do teach people to know the Lord ?
And why is it talking as if its yet future?
13¶In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.

I don't see this having anything to do with Hebrews 8 ?
