It says, " May the peace, blessings, and mercy of Allah be with you." For those not familiar with the Arabic language, Allah is not only the word for the Muslim god, but also the word that Arabic speaking Christians use to refer to the God of Christianity.

I've seen google translate botch a few translations.

What tipped me off that what you got was highly wrong is that Hebrew and Arabic are very similar and in Hebrew Shalom Aleichem means "peace be unto you" in which case the translation of assallamu alaikum would be similar.

Hummm I copied the verse and google the whole thing and got the right translation first time. Odd.

Hahaha ! My father and husband both do courier work.They call me all the time to find a street in the middle of nowhere.I think I just have the magic touch.If only I could make money off it . :(
