Monday, 13 April – Lebanon
Please pray for Lebanon and many Christians who live in this country. The Lebanon authorities keep on saying that the situation has never been more challenging and that all citizens must be very aware that another civil war could break out at any moment. Many Syrians found refuge, but also violence and bomb attacks have spilled over the borders into Lebanon.

Ah yea, you live there ukhti? May the Holy Spirit be with you there. I learned the situation from Open Doors organization.
I believe that must be related to sunni-shia sparks in the region.

What kind of problems are you having (or do you have) in Tripoli Hanady? Are the Muslims of Tripoli attacking or subjugating the Christian community in the north? Thank you sister, and I wish you safety and security in such a beautiful yet volatile country as is Lebanon.

May Allah bless you and keep you safe.

hello, well most of the muslims in Tripoli are extreme muslims so ... you know... they took over Tripoli and it was all Christians, we still have some christians living there but now it's around 80 % muslims there and they cause a lot of problems and I guess everyone now knows what kind of problems muslims can cause

And in the end days, there shall be wars and rumors of war......Is there anyone on earth who has never realized that the Middle East has always been and will forever be a HOTBED of nothing but war? Billions upon billions of prayers have been sent up to heaven for centuries there. The last known earthly battle will take place there. Nothing wrong with requesting prayer for the CHRISTIANS..but..again..CHRISTIANS are the ones who actually gain when they die. IT would be the ones who reject CHRIST and do not recognized JESUS as being the Son of GOD that need the prayers...CHRISTIANS are the Victors, just like when Paul declared "Whether I live or whether I die, it is gain!"

True, but Jesus also describes what a Christian will have done in his judgment day.

31 “When the Son of Man shall come in His glory and all the holy angels with Him, then shall He sit upon the throne of His glory.
32 And before Him shall be gathered all nations, and He shall separate them one from another as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats.
33 And He shall set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left.
34 Then shall the King say unto them on His right hand, ‘Come, ye blessed of My Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.
35 For I hungered, and ye gave Me meat; I was thirsty, and ye gave Me drink; I was a stranger, and ye took Me in;
36 naked, and ye clothed Me; I was sick, and ye visited Me; I was in prison, and ye came unto Me.’
37 Then shall the righteous answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when saw we Thee hungering and fed Thee, or thirsty and gave Thee drink?
38 When saw we Thee a stranger and took Thee in, or naked and clothed Thee?
39 Or when saw we Thee sick, or in prison, and came unto Thee?’
40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, ‘Verily I say unto you, inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these My brethren, ye have done it unto Me.’
41 “Then shall He say also unto them on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels.
42 For I hungered, and ye gave Me no meat; I was thirsty, and ye gave Me no drink;
43 I was a stranger, and ye took Me not in; naked, and ye clothed Me not; sick and in prison, and ye visited Me not.’
44 Then shall they also answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when saw we Thee hungering or athirst or a stranger, or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister unto Thee?’
45 Then shall He answer them, saying, ‘Verily I say unto you, inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to Me.’
46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into life eternal.”

uh, which tells me prayers are one thing, but ACTION upon those prayers that require work, sweat, toil, incentive, love and tons more is what it is all about. Praying without ceasing is cool, but what we physically do after praying shows a deeper walk with GOD.

Let's pray for the brothers and sisters in Christ in Libya and Egypt.

International Christian Concern - A New Shop in Libya’s Market

Gamal was working in Libya to help take care of his family. He was on his way home to Egypt in August 2014 when his bus was stopped by Islamic extremists. He and three other Christians were forced out of the bus. At gunpoint, the militants forced the driver to drive away. That was the last Gamal’s wife ever heard from her husband or the other two men. There has been no word of their death and no demand for a ransom. With your help, ICC helped Gamal’s wife, Manal, purchase clothing that she and her father can sell from a stand at the daily markets. “I thank ICC so much for calling us, always asking about us, encouraging us, visiting us and making this project for us,” Manal said. “This project has helped us to overcome our bad circumstances. It has helped us to make income to meet the physical needs for me and my children. May God bless you. Thank you so much, ICC.” Her greater request is something that all Christians can do: “I ask ICC to continue praying for the return of my husband.”
