This forum was requested by some of our Arab members who are former Muslims and who want to encourage and help each other and also reach out to other Muslims. We do get a fair number of Muslim members here in Christian Chat, and some are genuinely open and seeking, and some even get saved! Arab Christians typically face persecution and in some countries even martyrdom (e.g., beheading). Even in the most developed Arab country which has the closest relations with the USA -- Saudi Arabia -- the official penalty for one of their citizens to convert from Islam to Christianity is DEATH. But praise God, He is really working in these countries and His word still reaches people, and one way is through the internet!

Another reason to have this forum is so that our Arab members can post and share in their own language.

I hope and pray that it will be used for God's kingdom.

One of our Arab Christian members will be moderating this forum. We may just replace my whole post here with his post, in Arabic. :)

If anyone in this forum is dealing with serious or active persecution,
please let the rest of us know by posting in another forum, or by telling us in the chat rooms...
if we know what's happening we can be praying for you.

I came from a muslim country but I don't speak arabic lol I hope I can join this forum
May the Holy Spirit protect those who are persecuted as much as He blesses them.

Matthew 5
10 Blessed are they that are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.
11 Blessed are ye when men shall revile you and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely for My sake.
44 But I say unto you, love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them that despitefully use you and persecute you

Bro roboop ,thanks a lot for this huge help thanks for giving us a place to gather and have fellowship in a country that's close to impossible to praise the lord or to have any kind of fellowship in , and a place to share our hope to our fellow Muslims , May the Lord reward u greatly in heaven

Now if only we could find some
What are you talking about? What a rude and ignorant comment. They live in Palestine. There are also many that are Lebanese. Australia has a large Lebanese community, and many are Christians.

What a rude and ignorant statement, I'm talking about the forum. Of course we have arab christains, I've had great conversations with some, but if you haven't noticed the majority population on here is bible-belt and/or protestant Americans.

I will praise you Roboop for this forum.

Persecuted indeed ..
Nice for such to feel support from this site and maybe be able to write of things concerns or just know that they are validated and listened to and welcome.
I have had involvements with muslims and met one who became christian.
Theres also other religions that "hunt you down" if you try leave the sect.
Muslims beleive in old testament but they do not beleive jesus died they say it was his "look alike" that died and jesus lived on.They see him as a prophet but not son of god.Another version was 2 jesuses but that was argued theres only one was crucified.
Theres some other christian extreme sects that can also be very difficult to leave.
Or use other methods.

I have been wanting to live as a catholic and start attending church some time this year but have been persecuted and threatened .
A man with a wife wanted to marry me and i said no.
Other things have happened and i was used.
I made a lot of money and worked a lot and did not receive it , long story .am in court about it.

It is so difficult for a muslim to leave islam , often anyway.
Big family, its so nestled in to everything.

I tried visit mosque and it felt wrong and did not feel they were genuinly nice to me but were covering up nastyness.
Must say i have visited christian church that did not feel good either.

Finding the right church with the right people.

I am feeling for the brave good pope and praise his courage for all been going on in vatican and pray for his time.
I was hoping to be catholic.

One muslim i know married a christian woman and they had a son.

Also many woman being forsed into marriage and suiciding or running away or being prosecuted.
They are not always muslim woman and the prosecuters are not always muslims either.

All the support one can get needed be.

God bless :)
and praise to the

I was shia muslim.
Was a long time ago.
Things happened.
when i was shia in the name and not in the son i gave up my name and left.
I said no to the swap they proposed.
I said no to marriage to a man with a wife as they were stealing from me and very bad to me and threatened etc.

Feel ready to be a catholic , God help me.
But not attend church quiet yet.
Maybe meet a good catholic man and can move on.

Quran never says the Torah nor Injeel was corrupted, sister. :)
However, muslims do believe what is not in it, so things happen like you said lol
I'd suggest you don't prepare your life, heart and soul to be into a religion; rather prepare all of them for Jesus.

May the Holy Spirit lead you
