I John 3:16-18
16) Hereby perceive we the love of God, because He laid down His life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
17) But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?
18) My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
Galatians 5:6
For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.
I truly believe that the work, that faith is dead without, that James is talking about (James 2:14-17,26) is the Work of the Spirit, who by dwelling in us spread the Love of God in our hearts (Romans 5:5)

Love is the most valuable quality that a Christian can have,and that is why out of faith,hope,and charity,charity is the most important,which is love in action,the only true love you can have.
Faith and hope will not be needed when the saints are in heaven but charity will go on forever.
God's kingdom is motivated by love,and is love,where the world is motivated by selfishness and arrogance,which is not love,and that is why the world can never belong to the kingdom of God,for their kingdom and ways are motivated by selfishness and arrogance.
The Bible says that love fulfills the law,and Paul said we establish the law.
When we come to God and confess our sins,have our sins washed away,and receive the Spirit,what we are learning to do is to love,for that is what truly gets us to heaven is love,which we cannot have perfect love apart from Christ,which the 2 greatest laws are love God and love people,which all the law and the prophets hang on these 2 laws,so all of God's moral commandments are laws of love.
We have to learn to love to belong to a kingdom that is love.
Love is not selfish,not arrogant,does not rejoice in iniquity,and does not think an evil thought,which means love abstains from sin,and we cannot be perfect in love unless we are led of the Spirit,in which a Spirit led life will not fulfill the desires of the flesh.
