oh, dear! do you know your migraine triggers?
i'd say a really strong cup of coffee and some aleve,
but sleep is usually the only thing that abates mine. :(

praying for you. ♥
I think stress brings it on, so the stress I had with my homework earlier probably brought it on. I haven't had a migraine for about two months and I was first diagnosed with them when I was about eight. I usually take Aleve, but I would love to try some homeopathic medicines that would work for this. Thank you.

in the last 2 years, he slipped off the edge of a tub and put a putty knife through his hand
severing a tendon. went back to work 2 days after surgery.
and finished the injury workday with a paper towel wrapped hand.

he got trapped in a bathroom where he was aerosolizing industrial strength bleach
and almost suffocated.

he cut a finger to the point a piece of bone was quite visible.

so, yeah---one of those in his truck and one in his work stuff.
one in each bathroom and the kitchen.

i think he just needs a babysitter? :)
Sounds like he has Tim Allen syndrome. :p

Feverfew is an herb. The leaves are used to make medicine.

Feverfew has many uses, but so far, it seems to be effective only for preventing migraineheadaches in some people.

Feverfew is also used for fever, irregular menstrual periods, arthritis, a skin disorder called psoriasis, allergies, asthma, ringing in the ears (tinnitus), dizziness, and nausea and vomiting.

Some people use feverfew for difficulty getting pregnant or fathering a child (infertility). It is also used for “tired blood” (anemia), cancer, common cold, earache, liver disease, prevention of miscarriage, muscular tension, bone disorders, swollen feet, diarrhea, upset stomach and intestinal gas.

Feverfew is sometimes applied directly to the gums for toothaches or to the skin to kill germs.

You may not get your money’s worth from all feverfew products. Some feverfew tablet products can contain little or no feverfew.

[h=4]How does it work?[/h]Feverfew leaves contain many different chemicals, including one called parthenolide. Parthenolide or other chemicals decrease factors in the body that might cause migraine headaches.

Well, I can't get anyone to play with me on the other threads so I guess I'll just hang here for a while.

great research!

i find the best way to avoid migraines is to avoid the triggers.
don't think that's going to be cmarieh's answer, though. :(

Going to bed now....

Have work all week... and I just got done watching A.D.... and it was AWESOME!!!!!

It reminds me of the time when I had my God moment, it was years ago...and I saw him before my very eyes. It was when i was just saved, I had just given my heart to God and a few nights later, He showed himself to me. It was my vision of what I think he looks like, but he was PERFECT.

Makes me want to see him once more, only with my dad by his side. :)

And with that note, I am out. Good night my CC family, and God bless each and every one of you. <3

I don't think I am trying to get pregnant or have any of the other problems listed, but it was helpful to know that information. But yes it does help to avoid the triggers.

Father, we come before you humbly in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and petition you for the healing of our sister cmarieh in the name of Jesus. We rebuke any migraine, headache, dizziness, sinus pressure, and nausea in the name of JESUS! We claim victory and complete healing. Lord we believe that we are more than conquerors and thank you for your faithfulness and Word. For we remember, "Whatever you ask in My name, I will do it so that the Father may be glorified in the Son." -John 14:13. Thank you, Father, in the name of mighty king Jesus Christ, the name above ALL names we pray. Amen!
Glory to God! I agree with this awesome prayer, Lord Jesus. \:D/
