yes.............. God the Father so desired a personal relationship with His children. Yet, man could not/can not look upon the face of God the Father.........and that is why He took upon Himself the form of man, came down to earth, and He, God the Son, sacrificed Himself on Calvary's Cross, shedding His precious blood, cleansing man of his sin, and allowing men to be called children of God................AND, the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit, is the fulfillment of Gods desire......

God the Father: God OF man
God the Son: God AS man
God the Holy Spirit: God WITHIN man

2 Chor is a sad story that tells us why Israel should not have asked for a king, just to be like other nations.

The 2 boams, Reho and Jero, led to the split of Israel, the attack by Babylon, and finally, how God used Cyrus of Persia to rescue them.

but the glory of The Lord filled the temple! He did come down and dwell with men!

The book of Revelation 21:3 says "Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God." (KJV)
