A Timeline of the Seals, Trumpets and Bowls of Revelation


The 7 Seals contain the 7 Trumpets and the 7 Trumpets contain the 7 Vials/Bowls (the vials/Bowls are the wrath of YHWH)




The 7 Seals:


First seal


Revelation 6:1-2, “And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures saying, like a sound of thunder, “Come and see. And I looked and saw a white horse, and he who sat on it holding a bow. And a crown was given to him, and he went out overcoming and to overcome.”


Zechariah 6:1-8, "6:1, "And I lifted up my eyes again, and looked and saw four chariots coming from between two mountains, and the mountains were mountains of bronze."6:2, "With the first chariot were red horses, and with the second chariot black horses,"6:3, "and with the third chariot white horses, and with the fourth chariot strong speckled horses."6:4, "So I responded and said to the messenger who was speaking to me, “What are these, my master?”"6:5, "And the messenger answered and said to me, “These are four spirits of the heavens, coming forth from presenting themselves before the Master of all the earth."6:6, "“The one with the black horses is going out to the land of the north, and the white ones have gone out after them, and the speckled ones have gone out to the land of the south.”"6:7, "And the strong ones went out, eager to go, to walk to and fro in the earth. And He said, “Go, walk to and fro in the earth.” So they walked to and fro in the earth."6:8, "And He called to me, and spoke to me, saying, “See, those who go toward the land of the north have given rest to My Spirit in the land of the north.”


Second seal


Revelation 6:3-4, "And when He opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature saying, “Come and see. And another horse, fiery red, went out. And it was given to the one who sat on it to take peace from the earth, and that they should slay one another. And a great sword was given to him.”


Zechariah 1:8-11, "1:8, "“I looked at night and saw a man riding on a red horse, and he was standing among the myrtle trees in the shade. And behind him were horses: red, sorrel, and white.”"1:9, "And I said, “My master, what are these?” And the messenger who was speaking to me said to me, “Let me show you what they are.”"1:10, "And the man who stood among the myrtle trees answered and said, “They are the ones יהוה has sent to go throughout the earth.”"1:11, "And they answered the messenger of יהוה, who stood among the myrtle trees, and said, “We have gone throughout the earth, and see, all the earth is at peace and rest.”"

Third seal


Revelation 6:5, "And when He opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, “Come and see.” And I looked and saw a black horse, and he who sat on it holding a pair of scales in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, “A measure of wheat for a denarius, and three measures of barley for a denarius. And do not harm the oil and the wine.”

Ezekiel 4:16-17, “And He said to me, “Son of man, see, I am going to cut off the supply of bread in Yerushalayim, and they shall eat bread by weight and with fear, and drink water by measure and with dread, so that they lack bread and water, and shall be appalled with one another, and be consumed in their crookedness.”


Fourth seal


Revelation 6:7-8, "And when He opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying, “Come and see. And I looked and saw a green horse(traditionally rendered “pale” Gk. Chloros). And he who sat on it had the name Death, and She’ol followed with him. And authority was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and by the beasts of the earth.”


Zechariah 6:1,3, “6:1 And I lifted up my eyes again, and looked and saw four chariots coming from between two mountains, and the mountains were mountains of bronze. 6:3, "and with the third chariot white horses, and with the fourth chariot strong speckled horses.”


Hosea 13:12-14, “The crookedness of Ephrayim is bound up, his sin is hidden. Pains of a woman in labor shall come upon him. He is not a wise son, for it is not the time that he should delay at the breaking forth of children. From the power of She’ol I ransom them, from death I redeem them. Where is your plague, O Death? Where is your destruction, O She’ol? Repentance is hidden from My eyes.”


Ezekiel 5:12-17, "5:12, "One-third of you shall die of pestilence, and be consumed with scarcity of food in your midst. And one-third shall fall by the sword all around you. And I shall scatter another third to all the winds, and draw out a sword after them."5:13, "And My displeasure shall be completed. And I shall bring My wrath to rest upon them, and I shall be eased. And they shall know that I, יהוה, have spoken it in My ardour, when I have completed My wrath upon them."5:14, "And I shall make you a waste and a reproach among the nations that are all around you, before the eyes of all who pass by."5:15, "And it shall be a reproach, an object of scorn, a warning, and an astonishment to the nations that are all around you, when I execute judgments among you in displeasure and in wrath and in heated chastisements. I, יהוה, have spoken."5:16, "When I send against them the evil arrows of scarcity of food which shall be for their destruction, which I send to destroy you, I shall increase the scarcity of food upon you and cut off your supply of bread."5:17, "And I shall send against you scarcity of food and evil beasts, and they shall bereave you. And pestilence and blood shall pass through you, while I bring the sword against you. I, יהוה, have spoken.”


Ezekiel 14:13, “Son of man, when a land sins against Me to commit a trespass, and I shall stretch out My hand against it, and cut off its supply of bread and send scarcity of food on it, and cut off man and beast from it,"14:14, "even though these three men, Noaḥ, Dani’ĕl, and Iyoḇ, were in it, they would deliver only themselves by their righteousness,” declares the Master יהוה."14:15, "“If I cause an evil beast to pass through the land, and it shall bereave it, and it shall be a wasteland, so that no man passes through because of the beasts,"14:16, "even though these three men were in it, as I live,” declares the Master יהוה, “they would deliver neither sons nor daughters. They alone would be delivered, but the land be a wasteland."14:17, "“Or if I bring a sword on that land, and I shall say, ‘Sword, go through the land,’ and I shall cut off man and beast from it,"14:18, "even though these three men were in its midst, as I live,” declares the Master יהוה, “they would deliver neither sons nor daughters, for they alone would be delivered."14:19, "“Or if I send a pestilence into that land, and I shall pour out My wrath on it in blood, to cut off from it man and beast.”


Fifth seal


Revelation 6:9-11, “And when He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the slaughter-place the beings of those having been slain for the Word of יהוה and for the witness which they held, and they cried with a loud voice, saying, “How long, O Master, set-apart and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth? And there was given to each one a white robe, and they were told that they should rest a little while longer, until both the number of their fellow servants and their brothers, who would be killed as they were, was completed.”


Sixth seal


Revelation 6:12-17, "And I looked when He opened the sixth seal and saw a great earthquake came to be. And the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood. And the stars of the heaven fell to the earth, as a fig tree drops its unripe figs, being shaken by a strong wind. And heaven departed like a scroll being rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved out of its place. And the sovereigns of the earth, and the great ones, and the rich ones, and the commanders, and the mighty, and every slave and every free one, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains, and said to the mountains and rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him sitting on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb, because the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?”


Hosea10:8, “And the high places of Awen, the sin of Yisra’ĕl, shall be destroyed, thorn and thistle come up on their slaughter-places. And they shall say to the mountains, “Cover us!” and to the hills, “Fall on us!”


Seventh seal


Revelation 8:1-6, "And when He opened the seventh seal, there came to be silence in the heaven for about half an hour. And I saw the seven messengers who stand before יהוה, and to them were given seven trumpets. And another messenger came and stood at the slaughter-place, holding a golden censer, and much incense was given to him, that he should offer it with the prayers of all the set-apart ones upon the golden slaughter-place which was before the throne. And the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the set-apart ones, went up before יהוה from the hand of the messenger. And the messenger took the censer, and filled it with fire from the slaughter-place, and threw it to the earth. And there were noises, and thunders, and lightnings, and an earthquake. And the seven messengers who held the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound."

This shows us the 7 Trumpets are
contained
within the 7th Seal;

"And when He opened the seventh seal,...the seven messengers who stand before יהוה, and to them were given seven trumpets...the seven messengers who held the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound."

The 7 Trumpets

First trumpet

Revelation 8:7, "And the first messenger sounded, and there came to be hail and fire mixed with blood, and they were thrown to the earth. And a third of the trees were burned up, and all green grass was burned up."

Second trumpet

Revelation 8:8-9 “And the second messenger sounded, and what looked like a great mountain burning with fire was thrown into the sea, and a third of the sea became blood, and a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed.”

Third trumpet

Revelation 8:10-11, “And the third messenger sounded, and a great star fell from the heaven, burning like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the fountains of water, and the name of the star is called Wormwood. And a third of the waters became wormwood, and many men died from the waters, because they were made bitter.”"

Fourth trumpet

Revelation 8:12, "And the fourth messenger sounded, and a third of the sun was struck, and a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them were darkened. And a third of the day did not shine, and likewise the night.”

Fifth trumpet

Revelation 9:1-12, "And the fifth messenger sounded, and I saw a star from the heaven which had fallen to the earth. And the key to the pit of the deep was given to him. And he opened the pit of the deep, and smoke went up out of the pit like the smoke of a great furnace. And the sun was darkened, also the air, because of the smoke of the pit. And out of the smoke locusts came upon the earth, and authority was given to them as the scorpions of the earth possess authority. And it was said to them that they shall not harm the grass of the earth, or any green matter, or any tree, but only those men who do not have the seal of יהוה upon their foreheads. And it was given to them that they should not kill them, but to torture them for five months. And their torture was like the torture of a scorpion when it stings a man. And in those days men shall seek death and shall not find it. And they shall long to die, but death shall flee from them. And the locusts looked like horses prepared for battle, and on their heads were crowns like gold, and their faces were like the faces of men. And they had hair like women’s hair, and their teeth were like lions’ teeth. And they had breastplates like breastplates of iron, and the sound of their wings was like the sound of chariots of many horses running into battle. And they have tails like scorpions, and stings. And in their tails is their authority to harm men five months. And they have over them a sovereign, the messenger of the pit of the deep, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon, but in Greek he has the name Apolluon. The first woe is past. See, two woes are still coming after this.”

Sixth trumpet

Revelation 9:13-21, "And the sixth messenger sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden slaughter-place which is before יהוה, saying to the sixth messenger who had the trumpet, “Release the four messengers, those having been bound at the great river Euphrates. And the four messengers, those having been prepared for the hour and day and month and year, were released to kill a third of mankind. And the number of the armies of the horsemen was two hundred million, and I heard the number of them. And this is how I saw the horses in the vision and those who sat on them, having breastplates of fiery red, and hyacinth blue, and sulphur yellow. And the heads of the horses were like the heads of lions, and out of their mouths came fire, and smoke, and sulphur. A third of mankind was killed by these three plagues, by the fire and the smoke and the sulphur which came out of their mouths. For the authority of the horses is in their mouth and in their tails, for their tails are like serpents, having heads. And with them they do harm. And the rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands, that they should not worship the demons, and idols of gold, and of silver, and of brass, and of stone, and of wood, which are neither able to see, nor to hear, nor to walk. And they did not repent of their murders, nor of their drug sorceries, nor of their whoring, nor of their thefts.”

Seventh Trumpet

Revelation 11:15-19, "And the seventh messenger sounded, and there came to be loud voices in the heaven, saying, “The reign of this world has become the reign of our Master, and of His Messiah, and He shall reign forever and ever!”And the twenty-four elders sitting before יהוה on their thrones fell on their faces and worshipped יהוה, saying, “We give You thanks, O יהוה Strength Almighty, the One who is and who was and who is coming, because You have taken Your great power and reigned. And the nations were enraged, and Your wrath has come, and the time of the dead to be judged, and to give the reward to Your servants the prophets and to the set-apart ones, and to those who fear Your Name, small and great, and to destroy those who destroy the earth. And the Dwelling Place of יהוה was opened in the heaven, and the ark of His covenant was seen in His Dwelling Place. And there came to be lightnings, and voices, and thunders, and an earthquake, and great hail.”

Isaiah 27:13, “And in that day it shall be that a great shophar is blown, and those who were perishing in the land of Ashshur and the outcasts in the land of Mitsrayim shall come, and shall worship יהוה on the set-apart mountain, in Yerushalayim.”

Revelation 8:2, "And I saw the seven messengers who stand before Yah, and to them were given seven trumpets."

Revelation 5:5-6, “And one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep. See, the Lion of the tribe of Yehuḏah, the Root of Dawiḏ, overcame to open the scroll and to loosen its seven seals.” And I looked and saw in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders a Lamb standing, as having been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of Yah sent out into all the earth.”

Revelation 11:15, “And the seventh messenger sounded his trumpet, and there came to be loud voices in the heaven, saying, “The reign of this world has become the reign of our Master, and of His Messiah, and He shall reign forever and ever!”

1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, “Now, brothers, we do not wish you to be ignorant concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you be sad as others who have no expectation. For if we believe that יהושע died and rose again, so also Yah shall bring with Him those who sleep in יהושע. For this we say to you by the word of the Master, that we, the living who are left over at the coming of the Master shall in no way go before those who are asleep. Because the Master Himself shall come down from heaven with a shout, with the voice of a chief messenger, and with the trumpet of Yah, and the dead in Messiah shall rise first. Then we, the living who are left over, shall be caught away together with them in the clouds to meet the Master in the air – and so we shall always be with the Master. So, then, encourage one another with these words."

1 Corinthians 15:51-55, “See, I speak a secret to you: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible has to put on incorruption, and this mortal to put on immortality. And when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall come to be the word that has been written, “Death is swallowed up in overcoming. O Death, where is your sting? O grave, where is your overcoming?”

Mat 24:29-31, “And immediately after the distress of those days the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give its light, and the stars shall fall from the heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken. And then the sign of the Son of Aḏam shall appear in the heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth shall mourn, and they shall see the Son of Aḏam coming on the clouds of the heaven with power and much esteem. And He shall send His messengers with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together His chosen ones from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.”

7 Vials/Bowls – The Wrath of Yah


Revelation 15:1-8, “And I saw another sign in the heaven, great and marvelous: seven messengers having the seven last plagues, for the wrath of יהוה was ended in them. And I saw like a sea of glass mixed with fire, and those overcoming the beast and his image and his mark and the number of his name, standing on the sea of glass, holding harps of יהוה. And they sing the song of Mosheh the servant of יהוה, and the song of the Lamb, saying, “Great and marvelous are Your works, יהוה Strength Almighty! Righteous and true are Your ways, O Sovereign of the set-apart ones! Who shall not fear You, O יהוה, and esteem Your Name? Because You alone are kind. Because all nations shall come and worship before You, for Your righteousness have been made manifest.”And after this I looked and saw the Dwelling Place of the Tent of Witness in the heaven was opened. And out of the Dwelling Place came the seven messengers having the seven plagues, dressed in clean bright linen, and having their chests girded with golden bands. And one of the four living creatures gave to the seven messengers seven golden bowls filled with the wrath of יהוה who lives forever and ever. And the Dwelling Place was filled with smoke from the esteem of יהוה and from His power, and no one was able to enter the Dwelling Place until the seven plagues of the seven messengers were ended.”

Revelation 15:7, "And one of the four living creatures gave to the seven messengers seven golden bowls filled with the wrath of יהוה who lives forever and ever."


Revelation 16:1, "And I heard a loud voice from the Dwelling Place saying to the seven messengers, “Go and pour out the bowls of the wrath of יהוה on the earth.”"


Revelation 11:15, "And the seventh messenger sounded, and there came to be loud voices in the heaven, saying, “The reign of this world has become the reign of our Master, and of His Messiah, and He shall reign forever and ever!”

First Vial/Bowl


Revelation 16:2, “And the first went and poured out his bowl upon the earth, and an evil and wicked sore came upon the men, those having the mark of the beast and those worshipping his image.”


Second Vial/Bowl


Revelation 16:3, "And the second messenger poured out his bowl on the sea, and it became blood, as of a dead one, and every living creature in the sea died."


Third Vial/Bowl


Revelation 16:4-7, "And the third messenger poured out his bowl on the rivers and fountains of water, and they became blood. And I heard the messenger of the waters saying, “You are righteous, O יהוה, the One who is and who was and who shall be, because You have judged these. Because they have shed the blood of set-apart ones and prophets, and You have given them blood to drink. For they deserve it. And I heard another out of the sacrifice-place saying, “Yes, יהוה Strength Almighty, true and righteous are Your judgments.”


Fourth Vial/Bowl


Revelation 16:8-9, “And the fourth messenger poured out his bowl on the sun, and it was given to him to burn men with fire. And men were burned with great heat, and they blasphemed the Name of יהוה who possesses authority over these plagues. And they did not repent, to give Him esteem.”


Fifth Vial/Bowl


Revelation 16:10-11, "”And the fifth messenger poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and his reign became darkened. And they gnawed their tongues from pain. And they blasphemed the יהוה of the heaven for their pains and their sores, and did not repent of their works.”


Sixth Vial/Bowl


Revelation 16:12-16, "And the sixth messenger poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up, in order to prepare the way of the sovereigns from the east. And I saw coming out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet, three unclean spirits, as frogs, for they are spirits of demons, doing signs, which go out to the sovereigns of the entire world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of יהוה the Almighty. See, I am coming as a thief. Blessed is he who is staying awake and guarding his garments, lest he walk naked and they see his shame. And they gathered them together to the place called in Hebrew, Har Meḡiddo.”


Seventh Vial/Bowl


Revelation 16:17-21, "And the seventh messenger poured out his bowl into the air, and a loud voice came out of the Dwelling Place of the heaven, from the throne, saying, “It is done! And there came to be noises and thunders and lightnings. And there came to be a great earthquake, such a mighty and great earthquake as had not came to be since men were on the earth. And the great city became divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. And great Baḇel was remembered before יהוה, to give her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of His wrath. And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found. And great hail from the heaven fell upon men, every hailstone about the weight of a talent. First Vial/Bowl

Revelation 16:2, “And the first went and poured out his bowl upon the earth, and an evil and wicked sore came upon the men, those having the mark of the beast and those worshipping his image.”

The 7[SUP]th[/SUP] day Sabbath and all 7 Feast days of YHWH are about the works of Yahshua Messiah, prophetically shown by the mouth of YHWH. The first three are displayed in the spring Feasts, where Messiah came as the suffering Lamb. The last four are about His return as a conquering Lion. Starting with Feast of Trumpets, marking the return of Yahshua Messiah, the day that no man knows the day or hour… the Feast of Trumpets can not be predicted because it is the only Feast that occurs on the sighting of the new moon, something NASA can not predict with 100% accuracy. So these are times only the Creator of the heavens and Earth has control over. These Feasts are called “moadim” in Hebrew, and have a very interesting definition; “appointed time, place, or meeting” These days (appointed times) are celebratory Holy Days/Holidays inspired by the Creator of the heavens and earth. An appointed time set by the Creator of the heavens and Earth…


Genesis 1:14, "And Yah said, “Let lights come to be in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night, and let them be for signs and appointed times*, and for days and years.”

The Appointed Times of YHWH:


Fulfilled already- To be fulfilled in the future

1. Passover/First-fruits – Yahshua's Sacrifice(Passover), burial and resurrection (First Fruits)
2. Feast of Unleavened Bread – Removal of sin by Yahshua's perfect work as the Passover Sacrifice
3. Feast of Weeks – The blessing Holy Spirit of YHWH, coming into our lives stronger than ever
4. Feast of Trumpets – Yahshua's return and gathering of the Saints
5. Day of Atonement – Yahshua leads the army of YHWH to destroy evil rulers of this world and satan is chained for 1,000 years
6. Feast of Tabernacles – Yahshua dwells on earth for 1,000 years teaching truth and righteousness
7. The Last Great Day – satan is loosed and swiftly destroyed, the Kingdom of YHWH reigns forever

It is worth noting that even though Yahshua/Jesus returns on the 7[SUP]th[/SUP] and final Trumpet and we are called up to be with Him, none enter the Kingdom of YHWH until the 7 Bowls are complete.

Here Yahshua returns on the 7th Trumpet, showing there is no "pre-tribulation" "rapture" and we meet Him in the air/the 1[SUP]st[/SUP] heaven before the wrath of YHWH/the bowls are poured out;

I am not familiar with post trib, as from my personal studies and conclusions... I seem to fit midtrib.

The reason I believe mid trib for our Lords presence, is because the first part (3 1/2 years), of great tribulation... to me is described at Math 24.
All man made tribulation mostly. Wars reports of wars etc, which leaves victors... who kill Christians. "THEY will kill you because of my name"...BUT this is cut short ( so not complete yet), because of CHOSEN ONES, and we know nuclear war can wipe mankind out. "Or no flesh would be left alive".
Immediately after this tribulation, is the sign of our lord's presence, a resurrection and a rapture.

Now we know our Lord leads GOD'S WRATH,as now satan and his angels have been cast out of heaven...the Antichrist, the "man of lawlessness"... leader. "The disgusting thing causing desolation" standing in the holy place...Jerusalem.

"Those in Judea" flee (Messianic Jews), and are protected for the final 3 1/2 years of God's wrath.(Our Lord is here then).
The rest of us gentile believers worldwide also flee, BECAUSE the great tribulation is worldwide. (Our Lord is here then).

Thank you my brother, praise and glory to Yah for His people and guidance! From what I read we are pretty much in agreement, yes I beleive a post-trib but pre-wrath calling up to meet the Messiah, and your words are very enjoyable to my ears for truth is sweeter than honey! I am not a Messanic Jew, Im not Jewish but a former gentile taking part of the Covenant ratified in the blood of Messiah Yahshua, and I praise Yah for He pulled me from the pit! and I long for the day when we can be with Him in His kingdom, may it be so!
