Where Adam and Eve the first people God Created?

The short answer is no. Before you call me crazy lets go to the bible and see what Gods word says.

Let's pick it up in the 6th day of creation.

Genesis 1.

26And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. 27So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. 28And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. 29And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. 30And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so. 31And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

Verse 26. God said “Let us make man in our image, after our image” That would in His image as well as the angles. Let them have dominion over the fish of the sea “fisherman” over the fowl of the air, cattle, ranchers, herdsman, and every creeping thing on the earth hunters

Verse 27. God created both men and woman at the same time.

Verse 28. God blessed them and said unto them “plural, more than one”

Verse 29. God sets up some people to gather fruit, seeds and herbs,

Verse 30. All the animals shell eat off the land.

Verse 31. God looked at everything that He had made and He said it was good; very good.

Genesis 2.

1Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.2And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. 3And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

The 7th day God rested from all His work. God blessed the 7th day

4These are the generations “family history” of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens, 5And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground. 6But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground. 7And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

Verse 4This is the time line for every thing that has been created up to this time.

Verse 5 Notice in this verse every plant of the field. There were no farm plants, no corn, no wheat . . . AND there was NO MAN: “ what about all the men and woman God just created on day 6 before He rested on day 7?” This is a different man to till the ground. To cultivate the ground, to farm the ground, to be the farmer. Different from the fishermen, hunters, gathers.

Verse 6. God brings a mist a dew, a watering of the ground so that everything can grow. With the mud that was created by this God does something with it and in verse 7 we will find out what that is.

Verse 7. And the LORD GOD formed man “The man Adam” The man that God would use to bring His people Israel into the world. Stop right here and go back to the end of day 6. What id God say about those men and woman “ They were good very good. God is not a raciest, God loves all His children. Remember the Song Jesus loves all the children of the world red and yellow, black and white they are precious in His sight.” The people that His son would be born into. He breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and man became a living soul. Did He give the people created on the 6th day a soul yes He did. He gave them a human soul a soul libel to die. Adam had the chance to live in the garden for ever, but different study for a different time.

I am not going to copy off the rest of chapter two we will just highlight it.

Verses 8-14 God creates the Garden of Eden for Adam.

Verses 15&16 God puts Adam into the garden to keep it. To be the gardener the farmer of the garden. God does tell Adam there is one tree the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Different time Different study is it really a tree.

Strong's Concordance

of the knowledge: Strong's Hebrew 1847: 1) knowledge 1a) knowledge, perception, skill 1b) discernment, understanding, wisdom

Verses 17-20 God brings the animals of the garden for Adam to name and see if any will make a good mate for him.

Verses 20-24. God takes a part of Adam and makes him a mate Woman Eve. How long has it been sense God created the men and women of the 6th day. Why were the women of the 6th day not brought to Adam for a wife? Just as Adam was to be the male line for His people God also knew that Eve would be the womb of his people.

Let me ask a question that I have asked before. Why did God make multiple men and women on day 6? We know where the Israelite came from Adam and Eve. That does not answer the question about all the races. This is why He created the men and women of the 6th day.

If you want to believe that all people came from Adam and Eve you have to believe in a form of evolution. There is no way that 2 people of the same race and have a baby of a third race. Just cannot happen. That is as realistic as a man being a berthing person.

I have found 3 good teachers.
If one of them taught you this nonsense, then no, you haven't.

There are so many ways to refute this nonsense, but I'll just quickly mention a few of them.

For starters, we read:

I Corinthians chapter 15

[45] And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
[46] Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.
[47] The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.

Here, "Adam" is clearly referred to as being "the first man" twice.

First means first.

Not only this, but Eve is called "the mother of all living" in scripture.

"And Adam called his wife's name Eve; because she was the mother of all living." (Genesis 3:20)

The mother of ALL living in that she was the progenitor from whose womb ALL living descended.

I Corinthians chapter 15

[21] For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.
[22] For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

Again:

Romans chapter 5

[12] Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
[13] (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.
[14] Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.

Sin entered into this world by one man, Adam, in whom all die, and death by sin.

In your crazy scenario, you've got people preceding Adam, sin, and death. Seeing how "death reigned FROM ADAM", those who you allege preceded Adam would still need to be alive.

It's nonsense.

I'll stop here.

Seriously, forsake this folly.

If I am so wrong explain to me why in Genises 1:26 God created people to be hunters, fisherman, gathers, herdsmen. He did not create a farmer. God rested on the 7th day and then what did He do after that? O I know He looked around and said there is NO man, not one man I created in our image on the 6th day that was very good is able to till the ground. I have to do something. I know I will take this mud I made from the mist and like a potter I will create another man. Genises 2:5 And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground. 6But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground. 7And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
Then there becomes that sticky little problem of all the races. Did God use evolution to make them. Did God create them at some time after Adam and Eve. How did Cain go to the land of Nod and find a wife? Did Adam and Eve create a race called Nod, or any other race? NO, NO, The other races started as micro orgasms in the water, grow into tadpoles, then got legs, climbed out of the water turned into frogs and got kissed and became the Kings and queens of the ethnos. There is another one I have heard maybe you heard it too.
Genesis 11
7Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech. 8So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city. 9Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.
O that can not be it God did not change there ethnic groups just there language and scattered them all over the world.
Climate change they changed because they had to adapt. NO, NO, we would still see it going on today so that could not be it.
I know I have gotten silly with this, but so is your idea that Gods word is not His word. He said he creaded man"mankind" in Genises 1 then He rested and then He watered the earth so crops would grow, then He said I have to Form a man out of the ground. Then He puts him into a garden that He planted for him. How long was He in the garden before God made Eve from His flesh and bone.
Genises 5.
And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth: 4And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat sons and daughters: 5And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died.
Notice no mention of Cain or Able. Able because he was killed by his brother Cain another story. So Seth was his next child, so where did Cain get his wife?

How did Cain go to the land of Nod and find a wife?
Why do people think anyone was in Nod when Cain arrived? Why not assume he went there with his wife? Just bcause she conceived there does not mean he met her there, or that he married her there, or never knew her in either manner of speaking, before he/they got there. Cain built the city he lived in. How do we interpret that? It can be interpreted to mean that Cain and his descendants were the originators of that city. Even if people were there before he arrived, why assume they were not relatives of his as the population grew, and naturally spread into outlying areas? People jump to so many wrong conclusions making assumptions that are not in any way supported by the text, and then compound their error by refusing to acknowledge what is in the text.

31And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. genesis one is an overview of creation until genesis 2:3

Starting at verse 4 it overlaps and goes back to show a closer view of how man and woman were created and what happened to cause then to fall into so. And death through chapter 3

it’s two views of one creation one is sort of zoomed in and shows how and why man fell in chaoter 2 we read of mans creation in more detail and also we read about how man received The commandment . And how man and woman was unashamed in Gods presence In Eden

in chapter three you the. See more details of how mankind fell from grace into sin and death how man was cursed rather than to have dominion they would now have to toil and work the land and it wouldn’t yield good for them now thy y would die rather than live , now they would be cast out of Eden rather than live in Eden with the lord , now they would be afraid of Gods presence and word rather than being blessed by it

chaoter 1 should end at 2:3

and the. 2-3 should be viewed as a closer look at the general overview in 1 and we can learn a lot of what caused man to fall into sin and be separated from god through thier transgression so we don’t let it happen also to us

it works together 1-5 really because 5 goes back again and establishes the genealogical line of Seth and the line of cain also ….

the first 6 chapters really cover an entire time period of the earth and mans relationship with God before the flood in order to establish much detail Moses has given an overview of creation then a closer look at mankind’s creation and fall and thier purpose in creation and result of sin and death

leading to what caused God to repent about making mankind d destroy the earth but yet give Noah grace and faith to be saved.

There’s a lot in those chapters but it lacks much detail and some organization like the overlapping chapters in 1, 2 and three and then 5 they all Work together to give a more complete account of the beginning relating to mankind’s relationship to God.

If we cannot take Genises 1-2:3 as truth then how can we take the rest of the bible as truth. Why would God say He rested from His work and then change everything. Even if God ended every thing at 2:3 that would still have him forming and breathing life into Adam after that. Why is it so hard to believe that God created the races on the 6th day and He created Adam sometime after the 7th day and Eve further down the line than that. That is what His word says happened; Right?

He did not get his wife from his own family like Abraham and Sariah. If you look at Adams line Hed had Seath and then he had other sons and daughter's. I will ask everyone the same question where did all the other races come from. It is not possible for a man and a woman of the same race to have children of a different race. You can get a mix of 2 different races, Man of one race and a woman of another. Two yellow and green pokeadoted people can not have a purple and blue striped baby. You get what I am trying to say.
There might not have been anyone in Nod but Cain got his wife from his family.

He created Adam sometime after the 7th day and Eve further down
the line than that. That is what His word says happened; Right?
A brief internet search reveals this:

Adam and Eve were created on the sixth day of creation. Genesis 1:26-31 provides a very brief summary of their
creation and Genesis 2:3-25 provides an expanded account of God’s creative acts on the sixth day of creation.

Firstly, learn how to spell. Use a spell-check program such as Grammarly if you must.

He said he creaded man
Secondly, learn how to proofread.

Thirdly, learn how to distinguish between similar words that have VERY different meanings.

If I am so wrong explain to me why in Genises 1:26 God created people to be hunters, fisherman, gathers, herdsmen. He did not create a farmer.
Genesis 1:26 does not say that God created people to be hunters, fishermen, gatherers, and herdsmen, but not farmers.

God rested on the 7th day and then what did He do after that? O I know He looked around and said there is NO man, not one man I created in our image on the 6th day that was very good is able to till the ground. I have to do something. Wrong. Genesis 2 is an expansion of part of Genesis 1, not subsequent to it.

Then there becomes that sticky little problem of all the races.
It's not a sticky problem at all. God created Adam with all the genetic diversity that would eventually be expressed in what some call different "races" (in reality there is only one human race).

O that can not be it God did not change there ethnic groups just there language and scattered them all over the world.
Actually, that can be it. God separated the peoples by language and family groups. This is still evident today in DNA. I suggest you read Traced by Nathaniel Jeanson.

Notice no mention of Cain or Able. Able because he was killed by his brother Cain another story. So Seth was his next child, so where did Cain get his wife?
If you paid more careful attention to the text, you would find the answer. Genesis 5 says, "3 When Adam had lived 130 years, he had a son in his own likeness, in his own image; and he named him Seth. 4 After Seth was born, Adam lived 800 years and had other sons and daughters."

He did not get his wife from his own family like Abraham and Sariah.
That's an assumption not supported by the text.

If you look at Adams line Hed had Seath and then he had other sons and daughter's.
Yes.

I will ask everyone the same question where did all the other races come from.
It is generally acknowledged they came through Noah's line.

It is not possible for a man and a woman of the same race to have children of a different race. You can get a mix of 2 different races, Man of one race and a woman of another. Two yellow and green pokeadoted people can not have a purple and blue striped baby. You get what I am trying to say.
A&E were the human race. Why make assumptions about what was possible from their DNA? All things could have been possible humanly speaking from their DNA and over time, with sin in the world, it degraded <= how many explain it. And this is supported by the fact that close family members could marry long long ago, but now it can cause terrible mutations and aberrations.

There might not have been anyone in Nod but Cain got his wife from his family.
That's what I said :)

Unless you're a geneticist, I suggest you refrain from making dogmatic statements about genetics.

You have to read the bible with faith. A lot of these questions can be answered with a even a little faith and logic that comes from faith.

Verse 26. God said “Let us make man in our image, after our image” That would in His image as well as the angles.
Hi Ken, that's what I used to think too, but the following verse (v27) makes it clear for us that the "Us" and the "Our" in v26 is referring to the Godhead, not to God + the heavenly host.

Genesis 1
26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”
27 God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.

We also know that angels were created by God, just like we were so, when God said, "Let ~US~ make man.......", we know that He was addressing the other Members of the Godhead, not the beings that we call angels or the heavenly host, as they are created, not "creators" (IOW, they didn't play any part in creating us, only God/the Godhead was responsible for doing that).

You later said,

If I am so wrong explain to me why in Genises 1:26 God created people to be hunters, fisherman, gathers, herdsmen. He did not create a farmer.
Question, how did you read Genesis 1:26 and reach this conclusion (because I'm simply not seeing it)

Of course, any question that what you are suggesting might be the case is quickly cleared up for us in Genesis 2 (so read on :)), as there we see that the very first job that God had for us to do was ... farming yes?

Genesis 2
4 This is the account of the heavens and the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made earth and heaven.
5 Now no shrub of the field was yet in the earth, and no plant of the field had yet sprouted, for the LORD God had not sent rain upon the earth, and there was no man to cultivate the ground.
6 But a mist used to rise from the earth and water the whole surface of the ground.
7 Then the LORD God formed man of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.
8 The LORD God planted a garden toward the east, in Eden; and there He placed the man whom He had formed.
15 The LORD God took the man and put him into the garden of Eden to cultivate it and keep it.

Finally, though it has probably been cleared up for already in this thread, there are two accounts of the Creation, but there is only ONE Creation. Genesis 1 is the overall/general account of the whole of the Creation, while Genesis 2 takes a closer look at Creation Day 6. IOW, the Creation account in Genesis 2 is principally/specifically concerned with the creation of mankind.

God bless you!

~Deut

Let me ask a question that I have asked before. Why did God make multiple men and women on day 6?
He didn't.

Here's the account:

Genesis chapter 1

[26] And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
[27] So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
[28] And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

And here is exactly who this is speaking of:

Genesis chapter 5

[1] This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him;
[2] Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.

Adam and Eve were both created by God on day 6. Initially, they were both called "Adam". Later on, "Adam" changed his wife's name to "Eve":

"And Adam called his wife's name Eve; because she was the mother of all living. " (Genesis 3:20)

Again, forsake your folly.

I need to go to bed now, but I could easily pick every errant thing that you've said here to pieces.

Please don't make that necessary.

You've already been shown that Adam was the first man, that Eve is the mother of all living, and that sin and death were ushered into the world by Adam which caused death to reign from Adam forward. Now, you've also been shown exactly who was created by God on day 6.

Seriously, just confess your error before God, and forsake this folly for good.

Dear Kenallen,

What version of the bible do you have? it does not correspond to what I know. I think you are jumping to conclusion and trying to imagine how it was then by filling up the blanks. We cannot know how it was then it was too long ago. A thing that I learned over time is that the Holy Bible is always correct. archeological discoveries prove it it all the time, their discoveries are always in concordance with the scriptures. GOD created this universe that is an is an infinite space and he created us in it for a purpose that will be revealed when GOD wills it. there is a hint in JOHN 17. I think Adam and Eve were the first children of GOD , and for the different ""races ""cultures and languages you have to refer to the tower of Babel in Genesis 11:1-9;

1Now the whole earth used the same language and the same words. 2It came about as they journeyed east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar and settled there. 3They said to one another, “Come, let us make bricks and burn them thoroughly.” And they used brick for stone, and they used tar for mortar. 4They said, “Come, let us build for ourselves a city, and a tower whose top will reach into heaven, and let us make for ourselves a name, otherwise we will be scattered abroad over the face of the whole earth.” 5The LORD came down to see the city and the tower which the sons of men had built. 6The LORD said, “Behold, they are one people, and they all have the same language. And this is what they began to do, and now nothing which they purpose to do will be impossible for them. 7“Come, let Us go down and there confuse their language, so that they will not understand one another’s speech.” 8So the LORD scattered them abroad from there over the face of the whole earth; and they stopped building the city. 9Therefore its name was called Babel, because there the LORD confused the language of the whole earth; and from there the LORD scattered them abroad over the face of the whole earth.

As for the 3 teachers explaining things to you they did a poor job i am afraid,

Blessings,

Consider:

After the Lord scattered the people to different areas of the earth - and, as the centuries passed - the physical features that are different "from race to race" came about slowly due to the climate-and-other-factors of each area of the earth.

(I put 'from race to race' in double-quotes because the Bible tells us there is only one human race.)

The human race is divided into four major DNA groups - which came from Noah and his three sons.

At the beginning of human history, people married 'close' relatives. They had to. But, the genetic problems that occur today when people marry "too close" did not exist back then.
