There is no stand alone doctrine or literature to describe the origin of Angels. All references derive from the Holy scriptures. Angels are made by God. God has breath into the scriptures everything we need to know about these Heavenly beings.

Colossians 1:16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether [they be] thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: 17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

What is a Angel?
A Angel is:
1) messenger, a divine representative of God
a) the theophanic (a visible manifestation of a deity) angel

Angels serve in the capacities of, messengers, ministers, soldiers, choir, causing calamites and ambassadors. Angels are created to do the most profound to the smallest of acts ordered by God. God gave Moses the blue print to structure an image of two Cherubim fix atop of the Ark of the Covenant.

Not even Angels wants us to worship them. They have a perfect fear of reverencing God. In fact they will direct us to worship the Almighty.

Revelation 19:10 And I fell at his feet to worship
him. And he said unto me, See [thou do it] not: I am thy fellow servant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy

"There is no stand alone doctrine or literature to describe the origin of Angels." /" Angels are made by God." So which is it? There is no origin for angels?....or God made them?

What is the point of this post?

The point is that we share what we have read and learned and are encouraged to reveal what the Spirit teaches. If you read this post with no attempt to treat it as contempt and discern the author you will find room to add to the post rather expose the post. Or do you muster yourself with the false teacher witch hunt as we experience in the CC community time and time again. I apologized ahead time for my reaction. BTW I never said there is no origin of the angels.

It seems like he is saying there is no secular reference concerning how angels had their origin but only the Holy Bible addresses this in that God created them.

The Bible is the God breath word that introduces us to the messengers of God and their plausible existence. Now that being said where else can you find a valid source outside the Word that explains angels? No where... and no I don't mean secular references. I'm saying you can find it all in the bible anything you want to know about angels.

It seems like he is saying there is no secular reference concerning how angels had their origin but only the Holy Bible addresses this in that God created them.

I was able to perceive that angels were working twice in my life, once while I was giving birth and once while I was in the room with my Father as he was dying.

Both times there were two of them, and they did not want me to be aware of them. I could communicate with them, but not with spoken words. Both times I asked them to do something for me, and both times they told me that they only worked through how the Lord created the law of the universe they did not have the authority to change it but they would ask for permission to do what I asked. In both cases they said that what I asked for did not fit with how the circumstances were. Both times they did what I asked for.

I don't think that they operate on the same kind of time we do. When my Dad was dying, I asked that they not take him until morning as my mother had not slept so long I didn't think she could handle it just then. They left him, but within a few minutes our minister arrived to drive her home and comfort her enough she could rest until, in the morning when the sun came out and the rain was gone, they took him. Part of the bargain with them was that I was to stay by his side that night to comfort him and share the Lord's Prayer and the 23rd Psalm.

What he is trying to say is SCIENCE CAN`T PROVE ANGELS existence or nonexistence because they r on another intertectual level than anything/one in the universe.

Yes, Angels are real! Why am i aware? Because they are real. Just like the Father is real, and Jesus, and the Holy Ghost. i'm aware of the angels around me, i believe that 10,000 Angels surround me like a hedge of protection. i don't thank the Angels or worship them, i thank God for sending them, if it wasn't for God they wouldn't even exist. i thank God for His angels, they are His, and he sent them.

in fact i believe we all have 10,000 angels, but we have dominion over them, and the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. well any how, it depends on the person, of how the angels are. So think i'm crazy because i think this, its ok, i'm crazy about God.

All Glory to the Father. example of Angels working i want to share. i want to make clear this is all about God. i notice Angels the most when i'm working. people use to call me a machine. Remember this is about God. i would reply, its not me its the Angels! So cool, lol. They work harder when no one else is around, for real. so after i told them it was the Angels, they started saying, wow your Angels are really working today!

I can hardly wait to meet my guardian angel someday. Hear all the stories about the near misses and how he/she came to my aid throughout my life. It will be an interesting chat I'm sure. Thank You God for my assigned protector/guard. Amen

In the Scriptures angels are always treated in the masculine gender...
This was a surprise to me when I became a Christian - that Angels are male. The secular world talks of angels only when their friends and relatives are deceased and they speak of Angels (which they don't truly believe in) as female.

A more simple answer will be "Because people have seen them".

First of all, there is a Anglican church in Baghdad, Iraq called St Georges Church. The head of that church is Canon Andrew White, an amazing man led to do amazing thing and faces death every day, his congregation number in the thousands, many end up being killed for their conversion to Christianity. One amazing thing which happens with this church is that many people are able to see angels in and around the church. It has become so common that people just take it as normal. With the Islamic State approaching Baghdad, Andrew White made comment on his facebook page that he has seen an angel working hard on something in the yard, which reassures him they will be protected. Angels are always present and often visible in services as well, however they do not photograph, only showing on pictures as an orb.

I have numerous accounts of angels at work. THere is a lay preacher at my church who lived most of his life in South Africa. Church services would be broadcasted over CB radio to the remote farms. One day news came that a group of black rebels were going around the region killing all the white farmers. They then heard desperate message over the CB Radio from member of their church that the rebels were approaching thier farm and asked for prayer for help.

Prayer worked and rebels decided not to attack that farm. Few hours later the rebels were captured and the survivors questioned , they were asked why they did not attack the farm, the reply was that they decided not to as there were too many armed men surrounding the farm, when asked what they looked like they said they were wearing white uniforms, so they made a hasty retreat.

Guardian angels are not biblical, however they work for God to make a difference changing the course of fate but the Blood of Jesus, wisdom and Spirit of God protects.

I think the word should be "ministering" instead of guardian. However, one night after praying for protection from something, I saw this mighty, tall presence beside my bed and I sensed the Lord telling me that that was my angel. A great calm came over me, and I lost all fear.

Yes - they do protect. Ps. 91:11 "For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways........

Brother please check out exodus 23:20-23 One day a young boy in our Church prayed and fasted to see his,the parents of the child were of course very firm believers, and allowed the child to do this, because all were led by Holy Spirit( rom 8:14-15) to allow this. Upon the second night of the second day,the child was granted to see his. The child recorded the following." My angel was very large and strong, near 7 foot tall at least he said, with a great wingspan of at least that much of an eagle, the angel bowed his wings before the child, and said" I have come to bear witness of Jesus,to you,and from this day, you will always remember Jesus loves you,for as his Word says to you( matt 18:2-5) remember this word I say unto you,for no matter what age,all who believe upon me are indeed my children." At this point the angel departed, and all who heard this 12 year old boy were amazed. It was a most interesting church service that day let me tell you!! LOL Blessing brother super!

I think many Christians don't realize how often angels are sent to help as a result of our prayers. It is impossible for them to do anything that is contrary to what we call law, they simply can't do that. But with the permission of the Lord, they can change how things would naturally work out when we ask. We are to say "Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven".

One day I phoned my dear sister, only to find she got out of a sick bed to answer my call. I sent 10,000 angels to care for her. If she had been let to sleep, she would have died. Because she got up her husband saw she needed help, so she was taken to the hospital immediately where she found out it was only immediate action that saved her life.

We need to watch our prayers to be sure angels can help them be realized, and have faith in the way they are answered. Our prayers can change the world, but only when it fits with God's plan for goodness for us. Sometimes God's way is simply best, and sometimes it is simply God allowing free will to man.
