"More time consuming" - so... what? Priorities ;-) We are not talking about somebody who just want to live as a Christian. You can do that even without having any Bible. We are talking about somebody who wants to study the Bible.
People do not have to take expensive classes in some university to learn koine Greek. There are many books or online free couses.

Many of my neighbors are still recovering from Hurricane Florence and are more worried about where they and their families will be living.
I kind of see the point you are trying to make and agree that learning the original language would be ideal. Definitely better than propping up one translation or study resource over another. However is the OP really meaning to say "Strong only" as a bible study help or were they just listing the one they use?
I don't get the whole "kjv only"/ "Strong only" vibe from the OP, but did notice some folks "poisoning the well" bad debating/discussion tactics that suggested that the OP said that instead of just asking for clarification.

I have never used the KJV or Strong before the CC, because I am not English. So this debate is not in my cultural horizon.
I just give general advice that if somebody really wants to study and get serious about the Bible, learning the Greek is the way to go...

What is more logical if you want to live in Germany? To learn at least some basics of German or to take 10 dictionaries with you, because learning the language is "time consuming"?

Or the other websites that allow you to see the verses in various translation and the original language. Many have built in concordances and you can look up the word usage throughout the Bible.
I find it very helpful, but hope to learn the languages one of these days.
It's amazing how culture plays a role in how we percieve things and communicate.

Yeah. I studied Latin in high school and college and though it's not Greek, translating it from a Latin Bible gives it a richness of meaning.
I have also tried to learn new Khmer words by listening to it. I grew up listening to colloquial Khmer but my mom didn't discuss theological terns much.
People who are only flueny one language, don't really understand how much can be lost in translation.
Then I think that the inspired writers had to use the words they knew to explain the messages God gave them.
I do believe when we get to heaven there will be things there we don't have the vocabulary now to explain....like explaining color to the blind.

Bro can you tell me why God is sad and pleads for people to repent, while knowing they wont, because He is the one not giving them the gift of repentance?
Or is it just hyperbolic language in your opinion?
