Can someone with an english bible and some theology-skills check if this is correct.
According to my swedish bible God really doesn't like cattle.

2 Mos 9:3-6 He kills all cattle
2 Mos 9:10 All (now dead?) cattle gets boils and sores
2 Mos 12:12 He kills all (still dead?) first born cattle
2 Mos 14:9 Some seriously dead horses and chariots manage to pursue Moses...

1 Sam 15:3 -7,8 He kills all the amekelites
1 Sam 27:8-9 He kills them again... making sure no women or children gets to live
1 Sam 30:1 Now they are alive again and raiding
1 Sam 30:17-18 Now they are killed again, except 400 men that flees on the twice killed camels.

I know NKJs bible translation and clearly the swedish version has some serious mistranslations but there must be a better version somewhere.

That's interesting. So your Bible has a book called 2 Moses. Which makes sense. In English all the Moses stuff is in a book called Exodus, which means "leaving" or something because it's about how they left Eygpt.

An off topic question: are you having a crayfish party? I've read about those.

Oh, I was told it was in August. I have a friend in Lund. I asked her about crayfish parties but she hasn't gotten back to me yet. She finds the food in Sweden very expensive. Here in Canada they have frozen crayfish at Ikea. They even have the bibs and hats and moon decorations. I'm thinking of getting some and making some of the crayfish vodka to go with it.

I drove to my cottage last weekend and listened to my learn Swedish CDs. I'm learning about en words and ett words and how to put things in the past tense. I can also say things like "Vad heter du?" Did I spell that right?

Yes, a lot of livestock is killed by God in the Old Testament. And in the New Testament a bunch of pigs die because Jesus let the demons go into them. In that story I always feel bad for the guy who's job it is to watch the pigs.

do you think that if all the Amalekites were killed, what would happen to the city they were from, it would just go uninhabited or would someone more than likely move in and take over, and if this happened would they then become Amalekite's, this might be one way to explain how they kept popping up, may not be the correct answer but it is a possiblity that would say, ok even though you don't understand how something happened does not make the Word Of God false. like all people we try so hard to find the bad things about things instead of trying to find the good things, I am a KJB man myself, the Word of God is suppose to be truth, and I believe that the KJB is closest to the truth than all other translations, I thought that I had found some errors in it myself from time to time , but I have always found that I was looking at it wrong, it was me that was wrong and The KJB still holds true in my Book.

I am in no way saying that the Bible is false but the swedish translation is horrible. Trying to find out more I've found that in my version of the bible there are apparently over 50 000 misstakes everything from plain wrong translations to spelling errors. LeoneXII however pointed me in the direction of an english Bible online.

Yes using the allen-key

Ancilla: Feel free to ask anything if you need help with the swedish language allthough I have no idea why you would want to learn it. Vad heter du? is correct =) Jag heter Fredrik Lindqvist för övrigt ;)
It might be in August I'm no real swede because I don't eat crayfish (they are creepy little garbage eaters >.<) but if you are going to serve any sort of liqueor it should be different kinds of schnaps, home-flavoured if possible. We don't really drink vodka, thats more of a russian thing.
