so, I just wanted to post something after the rather large discussion in the chatroom lounge yesterday. So, knowing that there are athiests here. . .I think we need to tone it down when discussing beliefs in the chat room. There just seemed to be a lot of attacking going on in the chat room yesterday and frankly I don't think that's going to get anyone anywhere fast except angry. My bestfriend used to be a devout atheist and she was telling me about how the worst thing to do is to start debating an athiest. Doesn't God tell us to love on other people? that we should bring others to Christ by showing them his love and acceptance. I think if anything we should simply share what God has done in our lives. . .just my two cents.

I agree Bec sharing our faith is one thing, when we let it turn into an arguement we lose our witness, no one wants anything shoved down their throat. Merryheart..um maybeeeeeee miscellaneous..????

I don't mean to start any arguement or anything, but I feel that I should point out that this is a CHRISTIAN SITE. And that means, to me anyway, is the preaching the gospel, fellowshipping, and bible discussions are what should be happening in here. If that offends an aethist, then that person should get over it. We are Saying what we know to be true. Jesus was never worried about offending anyone as he taught. Political correctness is just some fancy way to dance around people's sensitivity.

I remember the saying: "It's easier to be popular than it is to be right." That tells me that we should all concentrate on what is right more. However, I am not saying that we should deliberately be rude or try to upset anyone. Be polite, but firm in our beliefs. I honestly believe that is what the Savior expects of us. And leave the final judgement to him.

WE ALREADY WE CANT DISCUSS CHRIST ANYWHERE...THIS IS THE ONE PLACE WE HAVE FOR OUR OWN TO BE AMOUGEST OUR OWN...IF

ANYONE HAVE A PROBLEM WITH WHAT WE DISCUSS ..THEN JUST MAYBE THEY ARE IN THE WRONG ROOM..... WHY WOULD AN ATHIEST WANT TO

CHAT WITH US ANYWAY ..THEY KNOW WHAT WERE CHATTING ABOUT. SO IF THEY ARE HERE THEN IT SEEMS TO ME ....THAT THEY ARE

LOOKING TO START TROUBLE B ECAUSE IF THEY WERE LOOKING FOR HELP THEN THEY WOULD BE MORE HUMBLE AN MEEK INSTEAD OF ABRASIVE

AND OFFENSIVE TOWARD US. THEY CAME HERE WE DIDNT GO TO THEM.........IM NOT GONNA BITE MY TONGE NOR AM I GONNA DANCE AROUND

THE TRUTH TO SPARE FEELINGS... RUDE I WILL NEVER BE...BUT POLITICALLY CORRECT IS NOT FOR ME EITHER..... TRUE WE SHOULD SHOW

LOVE.... BUT WE SHOULD NOT HAVE TO WALK ON EGG SHELLS FOR FEAR OF WHO WE OFFEND BECAUSE THEY DONT OR WONT BELIEVE IN CHRIST

AS WE DO...
