note that in KJV 'my' is italicized: indicating that it is not in the actual text.

this is John 10:30 in Greek --

ἐγὼ καὶ ὁ πατὴρ ἕν ἐσμεν

ἐγὼ = I
καὶ = and
ὁ = the
πατὴρ = Father
ἕν = one
ἐσμεν = are

this is the greek word for 'my'

Umm, Greek to English meaning translation. Now here's my take in here why the KJV still get it correct as of the English translation.

My Grek companion, A New Greek and English Lexicon by James Donnegan p. 886 says that Attic writers like Plato, Aristotle, Arrian, Xephonon used the articles being put even with proper names which are correct to say "the" but the Bible is not to the Attic writers. In Homily, the article is not regularly put with proper names. As also with a possessive pronoun, when the substantive is defined as “thy son”, “a son of thine”; it is added also to other words to render them empathic.

So, the KJV is still correct though not rendering the omicron in English "the" yet used instead of "my" considering it's not in Greek as the rule in a religious discourse and yet emphasizing his relationship with His Father, as the only begotten Son, the thing the prophets of old and even the Apostles have not said anything of God the Father.

A certain man planted a vineyard, leased it to vinedressers, and went into a far country for a long time. Now at vintage-time he sent a servant to the vinedressers, that they might give him some of the fruit of the vineyard. But the vinedressers beat him and sent him away empty-handed. Again he sent another servant; and they beat him also, treated him shamefully, and sent him away empty-handed. And again he sent a third; and they wounded him also and cast him out.
Then the owner of the vineyard said, ‘What shall I do? I will send my beloved son. Probably they will respect him when they see him.’ But when the vinedressers saw him, they reasoned among themselves, saying, ‘This is the heir. Come, let us kill him, that the inheritance may be ours.’ So they cast him out of the vineyard and killed him. Therefore what will the owner of the vineyard do to them? He will come and destroy those vinedressers and give the vineyard to others.
(Luke 20:9-16)
in this parable, Jesus is the son, the heir, Whom the wicked vinedressers kill and cast out of the vineyard.
the LORD Almighty is the owner of the vineyard.

the owner of the vineyard will come and destroy those vinedressers: YHWH Lord of Hosts

For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and then He will reward each according to his works. Assuredly, I say to you, there are some standing here who shall not taste death till they see the Son of Man coming in His kingdom!
(Matthew 16:27-28)
it is the Son who will come and repay the vinedressers - it is the kingdom of the Son; His vineyard

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.
(2 Corinthians 5:10)

it is the Son who judges and repays the vinedressers: Christ is God

And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming.
(2 Thessalonians 2:8)

Christ will destroy the lawless with the breath of His mouth

Even as I have seen, those who plow iniquity and sow trouble reap the same.
By the blast of God they perish, and by the breath of His anger they are consumed!
(Job 4:8-9)

God destroys the lawless with the breath of His mouth

Christ is God

18 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God.

Is Jesus good?

Then He is clearly God because a good person wouldn't lie.

Then one was brought to Him who was demon-possessed, blind and mute; and He healed him, so that the blind and mute man both spoke and saw. And all the multitudes were amazed and said, “Could this be the Son of David?”
(Matthew 12:22-23)
to cast out a demon you must know it's name -- only God could do this; this is why all Israel marveled over this, and why the Pharisees said, it is by Satan that He cast him out: they knew, and hated Him for it.

Here is a good moment to reflect upon the use of David, for David in Hebrew means Beloved.

Show from scripture that Jesus the Messiah is God.

i'll go first:

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
(John 1:1-5)

The Christ is that Word, who pitched His tent with us, came to His own, but wasn't known by them, who loved me, and gave Himself! He is the Light and the Resurrection and the Life!

OK, your turn! Go!!
Hi, I am a new one here.

I would like to begin questioning this opening "The Christ is that Word".

Here I go:

I am unable to find in the Bible that Jesus is "that Word".

Could John have began stating something out of the blue instead of acknowledging fulfillment of God's promise? Didn't he rather refer to what was already said by God like through Isa 55:11, Ps 33:6-9 or specifically by 2Sam 7:12?

Also the Catholics (who apparently introduced the Trinity theology under preassure in 325 through to 381/2) admit that Jerome (they tasked with Latin translation of the Bible in 382 which he completed in 405) made few "mistakes" including in Jn 1:1-3.

Besides, Jesus clearly states (also NT writers in many places like 1 Kor 8:6) a bit further in Jn17:3 that the Father is the only true God.

Further, all of the NT writers give thanks in the openings of their epistles to God our Father and our Lord Jesus Christ. They never give thanks to the Holy Spirit.

I consider that God has forbidden adding or removing from His Word the "iota" and the word "trinity" (forget about the "Trinity God") doesn't even appear in His Word.

Hoping someone points me to the Word of God stating contrary to what I pointed to.

Tempted of the Devil and Jesus’ claim to being God.

And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness, Being forty days tempted of the devil. And in those days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended, he afterward hungered.” Luke 4:1–2 (KJV 1900)

And he brought him to Jerusalem, and set him on a pinnacle of the temple, and said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down from hence: For it is written, He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee: And in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.” Luke 4:9–11 (KJV 1900)

Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.” Matthew 4:7 (KJV 1900)
Right away the antitrinitarian will say the Devil meant the Father would bear Jesus up according to Ps 91. And it is the Father whom Jesus referred to.

But look again.

By saying this, does Jesus announce he is God? Yes. “For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.” Colossians 2:9 (KJV 1900)

So Jesus in whom dwells the fullness of the Godhead announced to the Devil he is God.

Further proof? The oldest manuscripts say so too.

And he is God; “Now I want to remind you, although you once fully knew it, that Jesus, who saved a people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe.” Jude 5 (ESV)

And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. John bore witness of Him and cried out, saying, “This was He of whom I said, ‘He who comes after me is preferred before me, for He was before me.’ ”

it doesn't matter if there was a mistake translating to Latin. the Greek of John 1:1-3 doesn't leave room for misinterpretation; the grammar indicates literally 'God was the Word'

I am unable to find in the Bible that Jesus is "that Word".
He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and His name is the Word of God.
(Revelation 19:13)
from John 1:1, God is the Word
From John 1:13-14, from Revelation 19:13, Christ is the Word
Christ is God
