I don't get it?
Well, the word Spirit, pnuema, is declined in this way:
Singular, nominative: pneuma. Example: The Spirit speaks to me.
Singular, genitive: pneumatos. Example: The power of the Spirit came upon me.
Singular, dative: pneumati. Example: I long for the Spirit.
Singular, accusative: pneuma. Example: I receive the the Spirit.
Pural, nominative: pneumata. Example: Spirits of men return to God.
Plural, genitive: pneumaton. Example: The desire of spirits is to serve God.
Plural, dative: pneumasi. Example: God sends His grace to the spirits of men.
Plural, accusative: pneumata. Example: God recieves the spirits of men.
In each of these cases, the English word "spirit" takes the same form, only singular or plural. But in the Greek, each example (or case) each form would be different. (In the case of pneuma, the nominative and the accusative are identical.

OK, that's interesting but I was asking what the biblical term for "against" was.

The term "against" is not a separate word. It is the translation of the case. It is part of the word "Spirit".

Jay I hope that this will clear things up for you and I am not going to go back and foth over this issue as I pray my answer is clear. To blasphem against the Holy spirit is something that you can not do by accedent. The one who does this does it on purpose and the way to know you have is that you wont have a mind to even seek after God. You will be turned over to to satan completely. Now the word claim means 1. To demand as one's rightfull due. 2. Something demanded as as in title or right. 3. Something claimed as in land or a mine. 4. A statement asserted as one's right or ownership. Now as believers we were promised the Holy Spirit thru Jesus so we have a right to that. SO to answer you question it is not blasphemy to say you have the Holy Spirit, but the should be evedience of having Him as well which is another topic.

I know that we have the Holy Spirit as Christians what I am concerned about is the fact that I said I have the "power" of the Holy Spirit which would be claiming something that is the Holy Spirits not mine which is blasphemy yes? Unless that is we have ownership of the Holy Spirit and all the gifts and power that comes with Him?

I think it has been fairly covered what blasphemy AGAINST the Holy Spirit is. Your comment was more naive in nature. You have recognized your error and repented, next step is to now move on.

Once again, you did not blaspheme the Holy Spirit. You said nothing aginst Him nor did you slander Him. You used an English expression to say that the Holy Spirit was working through you. On close examination it may have been said poorly, but your soul is still secure in Christ.

I have something to add to the equation a choir is saying the same thing as me basically http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UngskeAQq2c
If you can't click that link it's a choir singing "I've got it, the Holy Ghost power" is that the same thing I said? If so I should be okay.

Please help I am scared.
Jay, I think there are three possible sources of how you are feeling.
First, and least likely in my opinion, God is convicting you of something in your life. that something is not what you said, but you are either transfering it or hiding it. This would not be unknown to you because God does not have a hard time communicating what it is He is trying to say to us.
Second, Satan is plaguing you with guilt, in which case you need to reject the false guilt and live in His forgiveness and grace.
Third, you are needing reassurance and attention from your brothers and sisters in Christ, in which case there are probably better ways to go about getting it.

Like what he said above. Maybe talk to people in your young adults/youth group?

OK. You need to walk by faith. It may be a harder thing for you, but you must accept that your salvation is safe in His hands. Also, you should go to church. Try calling and talking to the pastor or a staff member first. They may be able to make some accomidation for you. In any case, you can have victory in Christ. I know from experience. But it will take time and discipline.
