I can't find anywhere in scripture that you should have Internet, any kind of plane, be able to fly, drive across the country in a matter of a few days, have refrigeration, electricity for that matter. Almost nothing modern man enjoys can be supported with the Bible.
You may as well go for broke with that kind of argument and logic. The Chicken Ranch in Pahrump, NV can't be supported with the Bible, either. Just thought I'd help with the analogy, complete, what is it, the Creftological argument?

Certain mysteries of the universe must remain so. It's like the fine distinction a comma can make, "Bet your bottom dollar!", versus, "Bet your bottom, Dollar!"
Oh, I see, "dollar" being the operative word.

I like you, Chica. Unlike some people, you catch on to things, and in less than a half hour!

If God says get the airplane to spread the gospel, you get it. Even that, asking only for whatever you can think up, is probably below what the Lord wants you to ask for. Ask God to help you ask for something bigger than your mind can imagine. How about 15 legions of angels?
Matthew 26:52-53 (KJV)
[SUP]52 [/SUP] Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.
[SUP]53 [/SUP] Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?

When the time comes for them to come minister to you according to your needs, I hope you will be willing. I won't hesitate.
And yet:

And Jesus said unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head. Matt.8:20

He didn't have anybody around to teach Him to name it and claim it. It's a good point. The Lord Jesus really healed, wasn't some faker. Think of the money he could have collected, doing a Benny Hinn hoedown? He told the woman at the well everything about her, without a Peter Popoff hidden earpiece and plant in the audience. Think of the wine cellar He could have had. Think of the whole New Testament, nobody naming and claiming it, nobody "sowing that seed" for ten to hundred fold returns. Paul making tents. They must have been such spiritual dullards!

Still don't understand why seed sowin' and name and claim guys like Creflo need money sent to them to get everything they need, down to paperclips. But, it's not ours to think about anything.

Are you serious? We are to take guidance from what the New Testament writers wrote. They are an example of how we are to conduct our daily lives and what we are to believe.
Stop!!!!!!!!!! you are making my sides hurt....

WAS JESUS RICH?

There are many today who are teaching that Jesus was rich. Jesus and the disciples were rich, only rich people could take off for 3.5 years. (Fred Price, Ever Increasing Faith, recorded 11/23/90)

Frederick K.C. Price states: "The Bible says that He [Jesus] had a treasurer-a treasury (they called it "the bag"); that they had one man who was the treasurer, named Judas Iscariot; and the rascal was stealing out of the bag for three-and-a-half years and nobody knew that he was stealing. You know why? Because there was so much in it, He couldn't tell. Nobody could tell that anything was missing..., if Jesus didn't have anything, what do you need a treasury for? A treasury is for surplus. It's not for that which you're spending. It's only for surplus-to hold it until you need to spend it. Therefore, He must have had a whole lot that needed to be held in advance that He wasn't spending. So He must have had more than He was living on." ("Ever Increasing Faith" program on TBN [23 November 1990.)

Among those who teach Jesus and the apostles are rich are Oral Roberts, and Creflo Dollar, Kenneth Hagin. John Avanzini attacks and mocks theologians for teaching that Jesus was poor. "I don't know where these goofy traditions creep in at, but one of the goofiest ones is that Jesus and His disciples were poor. Now there's no Bible to substantiate that."

Was Jesus Rich
Luke 8.1-3:
8 Soon afterwards, He began going around from one city and village to another, proclaiming and preaching the kingdom of God. The twelve were with Him, [SUP]2 [/SUP]and also some women who had been healed of evil spirits and sicknesses: Mary who was called Magdalene, from whom seven demons had gone out, [SUP]3 [/SUP]and Joanna the wife of Chuza, Herod’s steward, and Susanna, and many others who were contributing to their support out of their private means.

I do not know if he was rich, but according to this he certainly was not as poor as you make him out to be either.

Before you open your mouth, consider the women in this passage and then ask yourself, were they poor?

I don't really know much about Creflo Dollar.

But I do want all the WoF preachers to be greatly blessed.
I would encourage ALL of them to give away ALL their money,
as a "seed of faith"...
so God will bless them 10 fold.

I really want them to receive God's blessing.
I don't understand why they are always begging for money when they should instead be able to name it and claim it without any help from their parisheners!

Ding, ding, ding, my post was about WOFers that do believe Jesus was rich. So your lame comment doesn't matter.

One former employee said, "The Copelands employ guerrilla tactics to keep their employees silent. We are flat out told and threatened that if we talk, God will blight our finances, strike our families down, and pretty much afflict us with everything evil and unholy. Rather, God will allow Satan to do those things to us because we have stepped out from under His umbrella of protection, by "touching God's anointed Prophet". Further, employees are encouraged to shun and treat badly anyone who dares speak out.” [29]

Just another sign that the end is near. God will send strong delusion that they will believe the lie. They will heap to themselves teachers having itching ears. They will not endure sound doctrine.

Big daddy dollar going to take them to the poor house in a hurry. The cycle repeats itself. Just another in a long line of deceivers.

Sounds a lot like Scientology and other cults like that. I watched a documentary recently about Scientology and they employ the same tactics.

Scientologists are a pretty scarey bunch. They've literally hounded people to death that leave their fold.

Cults usually have psychopathic, control freak leaders, and also shear the sheep for funding. There's always some lying doctrine involved, as they need a "product exclusive" to ensure having loyal customers: you can't get what they're peddling anywhere else. On purpose. A product exclusive is just "good business," to create a flock of chosen few, legends in their own minds. It tickles ears, appeals to egos. That's what that apostate comment of Dollar was about, denigrating the deity of the Lord Jesus. Notice how he went on to say all the other churches have it wrong? That was no casual comment. If people buy that, he has them hooked, clearly trying to plant the seed he has some lease on truth, which is always a lie.

Time for a Sirkism:

Have you ever gone gopher hunting? I used to run backwards faster than I can run forwards. Ohh look...a monkey.
I'm glad you like that one Chica. I thought it was kinda funny too. Me and my kids have this thing we do where we just say nonsensical things like that and we end up with lots of laughs. I figure it's good for their creativity, language skills and imagination. :)
