Greetings Saints!
This Morning's promise from the Word of God is:
Ephesians 1:7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
Read it to yourself slowly 3 times.
Then try to say it without looking at it. (If you do get stuck, look only long enough to remember what comes next, then look away and finish it.)
When you can say it three times wiithout looking at it, you are almost done. However, memorization only is not enough. It must be mixed with Faith.
Pray these words... "Lord, I believe your word. I ask you to make this promise a reality in my life. I believe you hear me, and have given me this promise!"
Say it one more time, but this time, close your eyes, and imagine that YOU already have exactly what this verse says you have / are.
God will not lie! (Any thought or idea that comes to mind, to make you doubt this promise is for you, is NOT from God, nor is it even from you, it is from the enemy of your soul, also called the devil, or the powers of darkness)
God's Word is True, let every other voice be declared a liar!
This IS who you ARE if you believe.
Repeat this exercise near your daily Lunch break, and once more at Dinner time.
If possible, try to engage in a conversation with a fellow believer concerning this daily promise. Ask questions, like, What do you think this means? Do you use this in your daily walk with the Lord?
When was the last time you saw yourself in the same way that this promise describes you?
The blessing that will come from this "iron sharpening iron" with brothers and sisters that the Lord connects you with, cannot be underestimated. The Holy Spirit has ordained that we experience the fullness of Christ ONLY within the context of fellowship with one another.
