Are we called to deliver demons nowadays from each other, such as I struggle with partying, should I have people lay hands on me and ask for Jesus to bring the demon out or would it be more biblically correct to repent?

As long as you are still sinning the demons have legal right to be inside of you. You must ask God to forgive you of any sin. You must stop the sin, God can help you if you ask him to.

If you don't do that the laying on of hands does not help you.

Once you have confessed your sins and stopped doing them then you having power over them can command them out your own self. In the name of Jesus. Tell them to get out and seal the doors with the blood of Jesus.

Ask God if there are any more sins you should confess. All the different sins open doors for the demons to come in. For each of the sins you must confess to God. Ask forgiveness, stop doing it. Command the demons out in Jesus name. Seal the doors with the blood of Jesus.

Make very sure you plan on stopping your sin before you cast demons out. If you dirty yourself again the deomns have every right to come back to you except the bring 7 more demons stronger than the first with them. Say you have 10 demons. 7x10=70 demons.

Like a sexual sin? I know a lady right now who did a sexual sin. There is a python demon crawling around inside of destroying her inside horrible.

Its not a game.

God bless you!

Even if you were demonized, delivering you from the demon would only make it worse, because if you did not deal with what the demonic attached itself to, inside of you, they will just come back as a stronger force and you will be worse off than you were before:

Matthew 12:43:45(NASB)
43"Now when the unclean spirit goes out of a man, it passes through waterless places seeking rest, and does not find it.
44"Then it says, 'I will return to my house from which I came'; and when it comes, it finds it unoccupied, swept, and put in order.
45"Then it goes and takes along with it seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and live there; and the last state of that man becomes worse than the first. That is the way it will also be with this evil generation."

You have to deal with the wounds in your heart and the lies that you are believing that cause you to run to partying as a coping mechanism. After God heals you of these things the demonic no longer has anything to attach itself to and has to leave. I recommend that you ask God what it is that causes you to want to run back to partying.

Blessings,

Demons don't possess somebody just because they sinned. The person has to open up specific portals through participation in witchcraft or the occult. Also many Christians make the rest of us appear foolish in that they can't distinguish demonic possession from simple mental illness. (Of this I've been guilty) Your first assumption should not be demonic possession. Wisdom is called for. Actual cases of demonic possession are rare indeed.

Acts 5:31 (King James Version)
31Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.

I doubt you have a demon that causes you to party. What you need to do is stop attempting to obey God's commands (which you can't do yet). Only God can grant true repentance. If you repent and then fall back into sin over and over it means God hasn't granted you repentance, but that you have repented in your own strength.

God must give you repentance, and He will only give repentance and faith as a free gift. You must pray and expect to receive. It could take years, but you must be patient. Then once God has given you repentance, you will be able to obey all of the commands in the Bible.

My question is this: Do you even know which demons you are dealing with? My guess is 'no'. But the partying lifestyle always involves demons of lust, greed, rebellion, witchcraft, alcohol, fear, rejection, fear of man, and hatred...of self and others as well.

SO, you need to confess the ACTIONS and/or thoughts involved with partying and any of the above listed sins, AS SIN, ask for forgiveness, REPENT...that means you don't do it any more (and don't think going to a party happens 'accidentally' because it does not). When you ask for forgiveness, understand that you receive it...God knows your heart! Once received, command the spirits (above) leave you in the name of Jesus (You ARE born again...on a specific date, right?).
Then ask the Father to seal your heart and soul with the oil of the Holy Spirit and to fill you to overflowing with His Spirit. Pray Eph. 1:17-21 and 3:17-21 daily over your life, personalizing it for yourself. Stay in the Word, spend time in worship and prayer. And it should no longer be a problem. Remember the demons will try to come back so you need to be persistant....because THEY will be persistant until they tire when they see you are serious about knowing and serving the Lord Jesus.

Why is everyone assuming this is a real demonic possession? Is this for real? Is no one capable of applying some critical thought or is there really a demon hiding in every doorknob and toothbrush? Do Christians have any idea how they sound to everyone else when they think everything is an attack from satan?

Why is everyone assuming this is a real demonic possession? Why, when anyone mentions the fact of demons influincing man does everyone think of POSSESSION??? POssession means OWNERSHIP...that the demon OWNS the person. Christians are OWNED by HOly Spirit. However, Christians can be OPpresseed by demons which is to say they are bothered by, or influenced by or affected by. But not OWNED by a demon(s). Christians CAN OWN a demon...which is to day that when they choose to disobey God on any given matter, they are purposefully allowing the unclean spirit to reside in their body. The Holy Spirit possesses our spirit. But demons can reside in our SOUL and our FLESH. DELIVERANCE is the Children's Bread...the Children being Israel/God's chosen/Believers.
Do Christians have any idea how they sound to everyone else when they think everything is an attack from satan? People perish for LACK OF KNOWLEDGE. What is simple to God, sounds foolish to man...simple to the Born again, spirit-filled Believer, sounds foolish to those that are not saved or are saved but do not have the empowerment of the Holy Spirit.

Demons don't possess somebody just because they sinned. Yes they CAN! If a person sins and does not repent the door is opened for the unclean spirit to enter. The person has to open up specific portals through participation in witchcraft or the occult. Wrong. By the time a person is involved in witchcraft or any other facet of the occult, the sinS have already been committed and the door is WIDE open. Also many Christians make the rest of us appear foolish in that they can't distinguish demonic possession from simple mental illness.Speaking as both a deliverance ministery and the mother of a mentally ill son, I can tell you that mental illness IS demonic! Why? Because IF it was medical, then medicine would CURE it. And I mean truly get rid of the condition after a period of medication. Mental illness is not this way. When a mentally ill person stops taking their meds, their mental condition deteriorates...they are not cured. That is how anyone can know if something ailing the body or the mind is demonic or medical. Your first assumption should not be demonic possession.Your first assumption should be that the person is under generational curses, or has relinquished control of their mind to the kingdom of darkness....knowlingly or not. Wisdom is called for. Actual cases of demonic possession are rare indeed. get the facts straight!! POsession is not the same as OPpression. Look up the words in the dictionary to understand the differences. Christians, mentally ill or not, are OWNED...POSSESSED by the Holy Spirit. And few Christians are free from demonic OPppression for a variety of reasons...mainly because of lack of knowledge.

There's nothing in the bible about such things as "portals" or a person opening up such things.

If you have the ability to repent then you are NOT demon possessed and do not need any demon being cast out.

Demonic possession involves a person not being in their right mind and they cannot repent because the demon has taken over their mind.

Until we are truly Born Again, we are possessed by satan. Justification (sinner's prayer) is not when people are Born Again. Sanctification (Born Again) is a gift of God given to sincere seekers later in their walks with God. Justification is Christ's Righteousness Imputed, Sanctification is Christ's Righteousness Imparted. If people still struggle with sin then they do not yet have the Imparted Righteousness of Christ.

Until we are truly Born Again, we are possessed by satan. Justification (sinner's prayer) is not when people are Born Again. I agree. Sanctification (Born Again) is a gift of God given to sincere seekers later in their walks with God. I do not agree. Sanctification is a PROCESS of 'being saved'...a continual state of BEING. And it belongs to every sincere seeker, regardless of the longevity of their walk with God. Justification is Christ's Righteousness Imputed, Sanctification is Christ's Righteousness Imparted. If people still struggle with sin then they do not yet have the Imparted Righteousness of Christ. And WHERE does that come from? Is that supported by Scripture or is it an 'opinion' worked into some doctrine?

Disagree. People are blinded by satan not in the direct possession and influence of unless they allow him.

Scripture speaks of both justification and sanctification as instant things obtained by faith in Christ. Justification - being made right with God. Sanctification - ceremonial purity and being set apart. Refer to the old testament sacrificial system for greater clarity. Christ's blood does both justification and sanctification. There's no such thing as a justified person who is not sanctified and vice versa. If a person is right with God by Christ's blood, they are also sanctified, i.e. ceremonially clean and set apart by Christ's blood as well. Once you are sealed by Christ's blood, justified and sanctified by faith in the Saviour, there is absolutely nothing you can do or experience to become 'more sanctified' than you were when you first believed.

Not everyone who is not born again is possessed by satan. Only those who have opened the door to such a thing. Most non-believers are under the influence of satan to some extent, but not possessed. When someone believes a lie, their agreement with it gives the satan influence over them. But not every lie leads to possession.

Justification (sinner's prayer) is not when people are Born Again. Sanctification (Born Again) is a gift of God
Yes this is what I believe as well.

You might want to clarify this a bit more. Do you think that the impartation of the righteousness of Christ is received upon being born again? As far as I can remember, I don't think there is anywhere in the Bible that talks about us becoming the righteousness of Christ in a period after we get saved. This is a necessary clarification because to many this is saying that you aren't saved if you still sin.

Not everyone who is not born again is possessed by satan. YES, they ARE. Only those committed and submitted and Born again are OWNED by the Holy Spirit and Christ Jesus (John 17:9) All others are OWNED by Satan and they will spend eternity in hell Only those who have opened the door to such a thing. Most non-believers are under the influence of satan to some extent, but not possessed.ALL unbelievers are under the ownership of satan. If they were not, they too would be going to heaven in their unsaved state. There are only TWO entities that can OWN a person; Holy Spirit and the devil When someone believes a lie, their agreement with it gives the satan influence over them. But not every lie leads to possession. True, but it CAN lead to OPpression.
