ARE WE TO GIVE OUR OPINION OR DO WE GIVE THE WORD OF GOD, WHAT HELPS YOU?
PEOPLE OPINION OR THE LIFE GIVING WORD OF GOD...
SHOULD PEOPLE WHO DON'T JNOW THE WORD, GIVE ADVICE ON A CHRISTIAN WEBSITE....
I THINK THEY SHOULD NOT! AND IF YOU DIDN'T READ IT YOURSELF PLEASE DON'T QUOTE SCRIPTURES YOU HEARD SOMEONE ELSE SAY,,,, SOME OF THE THINGS PEOPLE SAY ARE SOO FUNNY WHEN THEY TRY TO SAY YES OR NO TO WHAT WORD OF GOD SAY..........

SO WHAT DO YOU WANT? AND WHAT YOU DON'T WANT? SHOULD THEY KEEP THEIR OPIONS OR GIVEM TO YA??? ORRRR POWER YOU UP, GIVE YOU THE LIFE GIVING WORD, THE TWOEDGED SWORD..THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH... THE RENEWING OF THE MIND,,, FOOD FOR THE SOUL...THE GOD OF OUR SALVATION.. THE POWER OF THE CROSS...

WHAT? WHAT? TO EACH IT'S OWN.

Thank you for this thread.. So true we need to stop putting our opinion into God's word and poisoning it.. Let it be holy and it can be holy without our opinions!

Isaiah 55:11
So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

Hebrews 4:12
For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

there is one thread on here where the psalms are being read every day and the writer is giving his personal reflections of what the psalms mean to him. I'm enjoying this thread and his personal perspective of Gods word in his daily life.

\what is the Word of God, hardly anyone in here even believes that the Bible is from God. or either it was the word of God but has become outdated for todays educated people who know more than paul and john , or peter , matthew. I get confused if i am in a atheist forum or a Christian forum sometimes

2ti 3:16All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

this means that the Bible , reproof correct us for instruction in righteousness not we are to reproof correct the Bible I want true scriptures, The Holy Bible

I agree with speaking from the Bible.. but there is also something to be said for the testimony of one who has personally experienced how Jesus has effected their life.

What matters and is important is God's opinion, the Bible. Although you could not understand something and might want to ask a fellow believer their opinion. Would that be okay, or is that wrong?

After I read your post last night I decided to pray before I responded. I agree with you on the importance of the word but to dismiss the sharing and opinion of others just because it does not meet the standards you want is unfair to many. Consider the new christian that is just beginning to know Jesus and is so exited to share in Jesus what has given the joy. Consider the person that works alot of hours each day and the only time they have, is to listen to a christian station on their way to and from work, and the few moments they spend here in hope of some christian companionship. Consider those like myself that have had great difficulty in recalling what they have read and have spent most of their life asking Jesus to help them overcome the learning disbuility that makes it so hard to memorize. Yet love Our Lord Jesus so much that it is all they live in faith, hope for, and the love that revieled, they hunger to share when ever they can. I understand why the written word is so important to you and all who follow Our Lord Jesus. It is important. But to say how funny you think those who are not well verced is, I believe unkind and limiting to the power of the Holy Spirit that is with all who live in Jesus. His power is never limited, and if you think that all the opinions can go anywhere, consider the power of Our Lord God, Jesus and his Holy Spirit. Nothing and no one can stand between Our Lord and those he calls his children. All that is in the name of Jesus is valued, word, service and opinion. That is why I truelly respect your opinion on the word and agree. But consider the opinions and feelings of others that love Jesus the next time you laugh at their expence.

I felt a rejection of those posts too. Please dont post these sorts of things in serious biblical threads... go to the fun, I'm right threads or last one to post wins threads unless disrespect is intentional.

I do consider other's opions, but not when someone is asking what God/Bible say. and also I am not putting down the effort, but the answer, I Cor. 3:19 for the wisdom of this world is foolisness with God. and for those who are not learned in the word II Tim. God said; study to show thyself approved unto God. and for the part that I said It's funny to me I apolgize.. I should of have said it is sad. I must say that the Holy Spirit is powerful enough to help those who have a learning disability. I have family that didn't get pass the 5th grade. and preach someone under a table. and the Bible say John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come. 14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall show it unto you.
and we all know the scripture that tells us if you knock, the door will be opened, if you seek you shall find and if you hunger you shall be feed. so working, disabilities or what ever the reason God will not except it.
Matthew 10:38-39 And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. 39 He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it. Psalms 37:30 The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, and his tongue talketh of judgment.

Romans 10:14-17 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? 15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! 16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report? 17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

I never said anything about someone's testamonies. please read the post again..
we over come by our testamonies and the Blood of the Lamb. a testamony is the glorifing of God for what he has done for us. and it have scripture to back it up wether you know it or not. and let others know how wise, and awsome our God is. and to lift up the name of Jesus Christ; that we may draw all men unto him. but to tell some one what we think is just that " what we think" but to say what thus saith the Lord is what God thinks and they will prosper in it only.
