God is love...and has never required his name to be "Love" for that to be true. Jesus IS a/the new name (all things are made new in Jesus)..but you may have to seek God for him to show you whether or not I speak truth.

Love in Jesus,
Kelby

The Holy Scripture is silent about this and, going beyond the Holy Scripture is speculation and terrible evil:

  • "For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ." (1Cor 3.11).
  • And these things, brethren, I have in a figure transferred to myself and to Apollos for your sakes; that ye might learn in us "not to think of men above that which is written, that no one of you be puffed up for one against another." (1Cor 4.6).
  • "For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: and if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book." (Rev 22.18,19).

So is that what your book tells you, that it is a terrible evil? Or is that just your speculation?
