im talking about what you said. read the last two posts that me and you put up.. i said i dont believe god puts in order the worst sin to the least sin.. and then you said then how do you explain numbers six hated and 7 detestable. If im mistaken i apologize, it just sounded to me like you were saying that god does order them in number of importance from which sin is the worst and which is the least worst. anyways, i have nothing else to say on this. im just confussing you and myself LOL
lol ok I see, anyway no, those aren't in any particular order that I'm aware of, they're just worse than homosexuality from what I gather from that verse. All of it will lead you to hell, I'm just imagining that those would make God cringe more than homosexuality.

Because my gay friends know my beliefs as far as being an evangelical Christian, and that I take the Bible as the literal word of God, they so far haven't come right out and asked me if I feel they are sinning. They respect my decision to not allow gay "couples" in my home, and that I will not socialize with them as a couple. They also know, though, that I will do anything for them, and that I also consider myself to be a sinner deserving of death, and that I don't see homosexual sin as any greater than my own. You would be suprised at what a difference this can make in a relationship.

the same way I wouldn't let a murderer in my home or a child abuser in my home if they are still doing these sins, and Jesus gave a reason in the Bible for divorce so you shouldn't include people that remarry, the same way I don't let people cuss in my Home or do drugs in my home. or worship other gods in my home. a murderer knows what he/she is, a lair knows what they do, and someone who envies others know that it is wrong, is that murderer going to tell my children that is is good to murderer people, is that lair going to tell my children that lying is ok with God or that one that envies going to tell my children that even though God says not to envy, that it is ok to go against that, because God made us this way and he will understand why we never turn from of evil ways.

Kieth, I say this with the greatest of love.... How do you make it in your own front door?

We do need to protect our children brother, but at the same time, we can't be so spiritually minded that we are of no earthly good. Christ didn't come for the healthy, he came for the sick. i'm absolutly certain that Christ would have let a prostitute into his home, I mean, he let one wash his feet...

Letting a gay person in your home is not condoning the act, nor is allowing the gay person the opportunity to lie to your children. If the gay (or murderer, liar, theif, slanderer, etc) does lie to your children, as fathers we can certainly undo any lie told by a sinner in our home After all, our kids are in our care all the time.

A sinner needs love friend.

I wouldn't allow an alcoholic that is currently drunk in my house. I wouldn't allow a murderer holding a weapon into my house. I wouldn't allow a criminal on the run in my house.

And, I wouldn't allow a gay person with their partner in my house. It's like allowing a thief with a sack full of money in your house, isn't it? It's not being close-minded, it's being cautious to show that sin isn't welcome in your house. A sinner is, but sinful acts will not be permitted. It's best not to set up the scene where two gay men could flirt or anything more than that with each other in front of your family.

One gay person, without their partner? Sure.

God hates homosexuals, they are an abomination to God, the filth of which stinks to the very nostrils of God, homosexuals show utter contempt for all that is holy and good and live in total defiance of God.

Well I certainly hope so, otherwise I am posting on the wrong forum, last time I looked this was a Christian forum, I for one know that I am different from homosexuals and I would hope that other Christians would be able to know the difference, I am sure that God does.

Wrong there, God doesn't hate anyone. He hates the sin, but loves the sinner. They aren't an abomination to God, their sin is.

No that's Mahatma Gandhi, that's not Christianity...God says "I hate them with a perfect hatred" Ps. 139:22. Sins do not exist apart from the sinner, if you believe that the sinner is distinct and not responsible for his sin then you have no need of a saviour and no need of repentence for "God loves those He chastices" Heb. 12:6-7 and Eph. 1:6 "He has made us acceptable in the beloved", acceptable in whom He is well pleased and that is Christ! Jesus Christ is His beloved and we are made 'acceptable' in faith and love of Christ Jesus! Now where is the Bible does it say 'hate the sin, but love the sinner'??? Where? It does not say that, that is new age satanic doctrine from men who hate God, you don't become a Christian by quoting Gandhi....

God loved the world in Jesus and in that understanding God loves (or loved) homosexuals while they were still homosexual.

God loves His creation, God did not create humans to be homosexual, it's not part of His creation, it's fallen and degenerate and cannot enter into God's kingdom.
