Pastor brought this up today at service and really focused on it and drove home some good points. Not going to list them all out or retype the entire church service today but really just wanted to touch base with other christians out there and encourage you to ask this question of yourself, when it comes to prayer.

I will give you a little portion here that was said. The pastor and his retired army ranger friend work out at a gym and every once in a while the ex-ranger has a person that will come to the gym to work out also and he happens to be an ex navy seal. He gave descriptions of this person and it sounded to me like this person was very intimidating but the one thing that stood out for me that the pastor said was that he could see in this mans eyes that behind those eyes was nothing. ever see a picture of a person like that or meet someone like that? Anyway pastor told his buddy that no matter what it took that he was going to set a goal and pray to god that he would have this man in our church in one years time.

You could look at it like this. There are plenty of lost souls walking this earth already dead but just don't know it yet. If we pray to god that he makes us come across every lost person and have the chance to spread his word to them then i truly think that hell will for sure be fearful of our prayers. I am guilty of praying repetitive prayers and have asked for the same thing umpteen times before but tonight i think that i am gonna ask god to put in the path of every non believer that i can handle and see how it turns out.

I dont neccessarily think that hell is fearful of those turning to Christ and Ill tell you why scripturally.Jesus told a parrible about a rich man that went to hell and this man being tortured and tormented cried out saying to warn his family and that he doesnt want them to go there. It is so awful that he did not wish anyone to be there from his family and probably anyone at all. From what is said here in my opinion is that hell is beyond the wickedness that we have in our hearts in this life but is so terrible and evil that you would not want anyone else to join you there.I guess this mans eyes are opened now in hell but its too late and know that while satan is working and hates when we lead people out of going there I dont necessarily think people in hell are filled with the same hate because they are in such torture and dispair that they dont have the energy to hate anymore.God bless

"Upon this rock I will build my church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it." If not by prayer, then how?
