Hi, I don't have many like minded friends out there, and I am in search of answers to flat earth and or round earth? Everyone I know tells me I am crazy because based on BIBLICAL parables I find that the earth must be flat. I was getting so frustrated I turned to the Lord in prayer and the next day I found a couple of pastor's whom addressed the issue, and other videos to support my understanding.
I have been open minded and watched the round earth as well as searched the bible, by far I have found more parables that support flat than round.
I am a Christian and tired of being deceived by media, tv, movies, scientists and SATAN. GOD has been opening my eyes to things and it is awesome and yet confusing. When I told some family I am leaning toward flat earth based on Bible and other pastor videos, they told me I was crazy nuts, and that its always been round, and that I am stupid for even looking into this.
So please no judgment, lol just your opinions and thoughts, have you thought about this, or it doesn't really matter. Thanks for input
The Bible says that God sits on the circle of the earth so it is round whether a globe, or flat.
The Bible says the four corners of the earth but a flat earth that is a circle does not have 4 corners either.
The Bible says that from the coming up of the sun to the going down of the same the LORD's name is to be praised, but I do not see how that can happen on a flat earth with the sun always the same distance above the earth's surface.
And also the way we observe it going from dark to light, and light to dark does not make sense on a flat earth.
For if is is roughly dark 12 hours, and light 12 hours as an estimation, then that means that is is not always dark, and it is not always light, so there must be a dividing between the light and dark for if not then it would always be light for we know the sun is there in the sky.
So the dark would chase the light, and the light the dark, so when it is light in our area and approaching night we would see the dark coming, and then the dark would pass through our area and then we would see the light going off in the distance and disappear until it is all dark., and the same for when it goes from dark to light.
But we do not observe it that way but when the sun goes down, boom, it is dark, and when the sun comes up, boom, it is light, and we do not see the light chasing the dark, and the dark chasing the light.
Also if the sun covers roughly about 12 time zones at one time then that would mean the sun's light can basically cover half the earth if the earth is flat.
Which the contiguous United States cover 4 time zones which from California to Maine is about 3,264 miles, and that is only 4 time zones.
Which Greenland from California is 3,545 miles, but have a different experience of light and dark for a time in the area compared to America which if the earth is flat and the sun always above the earth's surface at all times why would it be different.
Everybody would experience the same thing no matter where they are at on earth if the earth is flat and the sun always above the earth's surface at all times.
Also if gravity is true, for if it is, then if it is a flat earth it would seem like we would be pulled toward the center of the earth, but on a round earth no matter where you stand you have the same amount of earth under you for it is round, so gravity goes downward and we are not pulled to the side.
And of course what many people say is how come no pictures of the edge of the earth, and when a plane is in the sky no seeing the edge.
