F.L.E.S.H. Part2 - Dependence

Precious Saints,

This next part about this strange topic will show you the flip side of this issue called flesh in Scripture...

JESUS, WAS BORN ALIVE SPIRITUALLY, IN OTHER WORDS HE WAS WHOLE- ALL3 PARTS FUNCTIONING THE WAY FATHER DESIGNED ALL THE WAY BACK IN GENESIS.....THIS IS WHY JESUS IS CALLED "SEED OF WOMAN" IN Genesis 3:15. We on the other hand were born dead or born with dead spirits.......In other words we had no way to Commune with our GOD......

The reference is very subtle back in the beginning, in Genesis, but if you search it out you will read the words that say......IN HIS OWN LIKENESS, AFTER HIS IMAGE, this is describing Seth in Gen. 5.
This condition remained throughout the Old Testament, until JESUS arrived, and announced the opportunity to become BORN AGAIN......JOHN 3-

This is why there are so many teachings in the Gospels IN PARABLES, which are teachings about GOD and living in the Kingdom of GOD, but done through NATURAL EXAMPLES......Such as seeds, plants, trees, water, fruit, soil, food, etc., etc. This is because NO ONE WAS BORN AGAIN YET IN THE GOSPELS.......This did not become possible until JESUS BREATHED ON THE DISCIPLES IN JOHN ch. 20
verse 22. And then after HE Ascended to Heaven, in the upper room, and forward from here into the rest of the book of Acts.......You see, when you don't have the Spirit of GOD in you, you won't FULLY
UNDERSTAND THE WORD OF GOD......This is why JESUS taught in parables in the Gospels.

So, with all of that said, when you look at JESUS' life in the Gospels, HE said and did ALL THINGS IN TOTAL DEPENDENCE ON FATHER GOD...........This is why in many different places in the Gospels, HE
said things like........

I CAME NOT TO DO MY OWN WILL BUT THE WILL OF THE FATHER.........
I ONLY DO WHAT I SEE MY FATHER DOING..........
THE WORDS I SPEAK ARE NOT ON MY OWN INITIATIVE, BUT THE FATHER ABIDING IN ME.....
I AND MY FATHER ARE ONE.........
IF I SPEAK ON MY OWN BEHALF THEN MY TESTIMONY IS NOT VALID......
I SPEAK THE THINGS WHICH I HAVE SEEN WITH MY FATHER.......
HAVE I BEEN SO LONG WITH YOU AND YET YOU HAVE NOT COME TO KNOW ME PHILLIP? HE WHO HAS
SEEN ME HAS SEEN THE FATHER........This is TOTAL DEPENDENCE ON GOD.........

There are a lot more of these Scriptures and all you have to do is search the Scriptures to find them.......and look these up for yourselves, this will start you on this journey with GOD to understand this principle teaching about: F.L.E.S.H.= FACING LIFE EXCLUSIVELY by SELF HABITS

So, JESUS HAD NO FLESH, OR OLD WAYS, BECAUSE HE WAS BORN OF A VIRGIN, PERFECT, ALIVE IN SPIRIT, FOR GOD HIMSELF PUT HIS OWN SEED IN MARY.....This is not the case for us....

Next, we will take a little deeper look into OUR FLESH and how it was generated in this world, and I'll give you some hints here, it started in YOUR GENERATIONS.......YOUR FAMILY LINE.....THIS IS WHAT THE ENEMY TRIES TO KEEP US BOUND TO, BECAUSE IF HE CAN PULL THIS OFF, WE WILL WALK OUT OUR WHOLE LIFE BEFORE GOD, IN OUR FLESH AND NOT EVEN KNOW IT.........

well i have never known you to give a straight answer to a straight question so I give up

I believe the flesh is first the body, second our self image and our identity as based on the body. We identify with our flesh (body) instead of the Spirit which was intended. Once we receive Christ and are born again or made alive to God we begin to identify with Him through His Spirit and become free. I can back this up massively from scripture, the flesh is not some mystical thing its just the result of living without god and having a nature that is modelled or created based on believing that the physical is what is real, without the spirit to give the physical context. Very exciting topic.

I think we are saying some of the similar things here, just differently...........You said the flesh is not some mystical thing, and I agree with you to a point...... The flesh is EVERY WAY WE CHOSE TO GET OUR NEEDS MET ON THIS PLANET, BEFORE CHRIST CAME INTO OUR LIVES.......Now that in and of itself may be ' mystical ' as you say, because MOST people in Christianity have no clue except for the most obvious cases such as ALCOHOLISM, SEXUAL SINS, LYING, STEALING..........AND ALL THE REST OF THE JUNK MENTIONED IN:

GALATIANS 5:19 NOW THE DEEDS OF THE FLESH ARE EVIDENT WHICH ARE: IMMORALITY, IMPURITY, SENSUALITY, IDOLATRY, SORCERY, ENMITIES, STRIFE, JEALOUSY, OUTBURSTS OF ANGER, DISPUTES, DISSENSIONS, FACTIONS (division) ENVYING, DRUNKENNESS, CAROUSING, AND THINGS LIKE THESE.............

Now Brother, all due respect to the massive data you mentioned above..........But I have just one question with this particular revelation from Paul.....

And that is what part of the body is involved when someone is JEALOUS, OR EXPERIENCING ENMITY, OR SENSUALITY, OR IDOLATRY.........?

The reason why I am askiing you this is plain in the text above ..............ENMITY does not necessarily APPEAR PHYSICALLY FROM OUR BODY PERSE'

MOST OF THESE FLESH ISSUES AS STATED BY PAUL ARE EXPERIENCED IN OUR SOULS, NOT NECESSARILY JUST IN OUR BODY........YES THEY CAN MANIFEST THERE ALSO, BUT THE ORIGIN IS THE SOUL, PLEASE CONSIDER GETTING THE BOOK THAT I MENTIONED IN OTHER THREADS.......

The body doesnt have to be involved in those things, they are the result or fruit evident in a mans life that has believed the lie, and indentified with the body. Its all about identity. Just like God descibes Himself I AM that I AM, that's a who statement not a what, when He descibes Himself He expresses His Personhood, and awareness. When we discern after the body we identify with a thing rather than a person. Without the Spirit of God we wrongly discern the nature of things and are carnal as a result. Even from the point of conception and while in the womb there is sensations and stimulation which we are affected by but without the Holy Spirit it brings about a carnal perspective, and the result or fruits are what u describe above from the word. Hope this is clear it is 5 am in the morning and ive just finished a 12 hr shift haha. Im not necessarliy disagreeing with anything you have said just pointing out some aspects that the Lord has revealed to me.
