My 2 cents worth, nowhere in scripture does it say anything about knowing month or yr. It says we can know of the time and season by the signs. We are in the time and season now. Stop twisting the scripture. Shalom

There are FALSE prophets and TRUE prophets. How do we tell the difference?? What true prophets say produces Godly fruitl...we are to judge them by their FRUIT.

A true prophet can speak a prophecy and the people can pray, repent and cancel any foretold disaster...think Nineva. IF the people repent and pray. Then the prophecy does not come to pass BUT the prophet is still true. A FALSE prophet can prophesy and it can come to pass but because of the motive of his/her heart or that the words turn people away from God, they are still false.
So wrong maggie; If a prophet prophesy and it does not come to pass,he is a false prophet.
Too many people today call EVERY prophet false. They are ignorant and need to study NT prophecy to come into understanding of the differences between OT and NT prophecy. NOT TO MENTION...that when a person does prophesy and then the prophecy or words are shown to be incorrect, IF that person goes to the Cross and confesses their error, THEY ARE FORGIVEN and NOT STONED. In NT prophecy we are told to IGNORE a false prophet. But for the TRUE prophet, you'd best receive him/her with honor according to MT 10:41.

In the case of nineveh, jonah must have said; IF YOU DONT REPENT GOD WILL PUNISH YOU. But they repented and God spared nineveh.

The holy mountain is where the temple use to be,not mount of olives, but mount moriah, where the dome is now.

Nope! He never told them to repent, to pray or anything else.

Show me in scripture where it is, or is that one of those secret mathematics like the recent rapture?

WakeUp, I've shown what I talk about, with verses. You have yet to back your claims with scripture. Shalom

In acts, these things are spoken to, what I find interesting, is it is said that they will prophecy, but it does not call any one prophet.

Acts 2;17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, I will pour out my of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and daughters shall prophecy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams.
18: And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophecy:

If one looks at these scriptures, it is not about who is a prophet, but that of the Spirit , shall be in all men.

Just my thoughts on this.
In Jesus, God bless.

Revelation 19:10
And I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, “See that you do not do that! I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren who have the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”

Just because you can quote scripture does not mean you know the scriptures.
Big deal you can quote scripture; Satan also can quote scripture.
Even the evil spirits know that Jesus is the son of God.
which you dont know, for you said that Jesus is God,shame on you.

God justifies and you can't even answer simple request to back your words with scriptures, but want people to follow blinding your visions/interpretation of events and twisted Bible reading.

I don't seek to know the scriptures. I seek to know God's heart and will for my life and the world and to follow His commandments.

what do you seek, wakeup?

Tell us again what month and year YOUR Lord is coming?

if not that give us a clue what Bible verses should we seek understanding from?

November 2017???

hot, cold?

hi pickles: actually, that was peter quoting Joel:
Peter was saying this (what they saw happening at Pentecost) was what joel had prophesied.

as with many prophecies, there is that remaining fulfilmment just over the horizon which can be vaguely seen (the cosmic signs), but we are not to expect a second pentecost.
