It's all in the title. If anyone wants to take a shot at me, come get me.

I've been raised a Christian. I've been a Christian for 8 years. I could recite the Gospel backwards. And yet I've always had a serious problem with one of the most important doctrines and the one we claim sets us free: grace.

Why? Because grace is often used as a license to sin. Grace apparently means even the most evil person who ever lived can go to heaven and never suffer the consequences for any of his horrific evils, simply by "accepting Jesus." I'm sorry, but nothing anyone can say can convince me that certain people can be forgiven.

I've never been abused, raped, or anything. This has nothing to do with me. It's about me feeling powerless to do anything about the suffering I see around me. And it infuriates me.

Sounds like you need a husband. Don't take that as an insult either, good women are hard to find in this evil time.

There are always consequences to sin. Murder comes with the death penalty in many countries for example.

I think what you cannot accept is that God himself does not punish one who is in Christ Jesus. Well if he did, then he is punishing the same sin twice, once in his Son, the other on you.

You are able to recite the Bible in reverse, yet you do not understand the grace and mercy used as an excuse of sin is licentious? Sorry, from here, but I cannot believe your claims...God bless you ...j

Yeah but in a lot of those same countries you can bribe law enforcement and/or politicians.

The Gospel begins in Genesis...……….. I am surprised you did not understand this. Perhaps you have had teachers who did not teach this along with the New Testament. No matter. Know that Jesus is the entire Word, not some of the Word, and this may help you to truly understand. Meanwhile all know not to return evil for good when it comes st our salvation in Jesus, Yeshua, therefor it stands sto reason we cannot show gratitude by living a life of deliberate disobedience because disobedience is sin. Praise God, and when you cannot understand something in the Word, so as did Mary, hold it in your heart, to yourself until understanding comes or until the resurrection if necessary.

I was taught all of this. I said I'm not some surface level Christian. Thank you though.

If that is the issue you are concerned about, then it has nothing to do with God’s grace isn’t it?

The point is, people always get away with certain things in the first life. Should they be able to get away with it forever?

I don't want a husband nor do I need one. Sorry but I do take that as a bit of an insult.
Okay, well sorry that you're insulted.

Oh beloved Paul the apostle of my Lord Jesus you were so right bout them!

Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.

Good thing I know insults are a frame game.

There is neither Jew nor Greek, neither slave nor free, neither male nor female, but you are all one in Christ Jesus.

My response was merely stressing that you did mention the ability to recite the Word in reverse in stating you are able to recite the Godpel such. However you are excluding the Godpel as taught from the beginning. It is hidden from those who have the veil of Moses blinding them to understanding.

I believe you are enjoying the attempt to trip up onthers with your words so I will bow out. I pray you allow others with understandign here to enjoy their dialogues with those seeking truth. God bless you.

Ain't no game. Good women need a husband to lead them, this will alleviate their anxieties. When a good woman has a good man, she will be very secure. It's only when the woman is tossed to and fro by the Devil's lies and the world's ways that imbalance occurs. Consider how all this corruption started when that lowly animal got the woman alone to lie to her. He imbalances the natural order that God made (God--->Man---Woman-->Animals) and used the confusion to corrupt the earth (in essence the chain of the Original Sin's order goes Animal(Satan)--->Woman---->Man---->God).

I'm assuming you have the apocrypha as part of your bible. That garbage is nowhere to be found in scripture.

And this is meant to be a serious thread. If you reply with your nonsense one more time, I promise, I will report you.

Your assumption is incorrect. It is found even in Genesis 3, reconfirmed variously throughout the Bible, I personally recommend 1 Timothy 2.

I am being serious, but I mean hey, Lord Jesus did say that we'd be persecuted without a real cause wherever we go. I guess if you cyber-stone me for my innocence that's okay, it just means Lord Jesus is always correct.

You do understand that this "blanket" forgiveness is a one time thing, right? By that, I mean ANY who call on the Name of Christ can have their sins forgiven, and become children of the Living God.

Grace in no way excuses people who continue to live in sin/a sinful lifestyle after they have come to Christ. Any such person is NOT a Christian/nor are they saved in my opinion. Based on that, I can only believe you are not understanding the true meaning of the "saving grace of God."

The Apostle Paul engaged in the hunting down, beating, imprisoning, and murdering of Christians PRIOR to his conversion. And Jesus Himself appeared to Saul/Paul, calling him to "repent" and that is just what he did. He did NOT continue to live the sinfilled life he had prior, but spent his live in service to God preaching and teaching the Gospel of Christ. Establishing Churches across the regions among the Gentiles. Yet, he did struggle, as he himself testifies to in various places in his Epistles.

There are instances/times when a person has hardened their heart so hard through denying Christ and rejecting God that God turns them over to their own sinfilled life, and they will not be saved. First Chapter of Romans speaks of this, and there are other places in Scripture that do as well.

All "can be" saved, but all "won't be" saved. Those who deny Christ and God will not be saved, but that is of their own doing, and it is not Gods desire. God would have all men be saved.........yet, He knows that not all will be. So, in a way, you are correct, but it isn't based on the type of sin they committed, but their denial of Christ/God and refusal to repent.

The wages of sin is death, and the smallest sin will cause one to spend eternity in damnation just as the worst of sins......
