***We should just do what the Holy Spirit urges,
not what society or church or pastors insist that we do unless the Bible supports such.
That is why I live Proverbs 3.5-6 as often as I can.
The Apostle Paul only wrote the word “traditions” twice in the Bible:
Galatians 1:14-- “And profited in the Jews' religion above many my equals in mine own nation,
being more exceedingly zealous of the traditions of my fathers.”
And 2 Thessalonians 2:15-- “Therefore, brethren, stand fast,
and hold the traditions which ye have been taught,
whether by word, or our epistle.”
Did Apostle Paul write about the Easter or Christmas seasons?
In regards to Christmas, Jesus Christ was not born on December 25th
and there is no command to celebrate His birthday.
Even if there was, He should be getting the gifts, not us.
During my childhood, Christmas Day was of selfishness and we didn't think or talk about Jesus Christ.
He was mostly born as human in September or April on one of the Jewish Feast Days, but a Roman Catholic Pope proclaimed His birthday to be December 25th.

If you had the power to change this tradition, what changes would you make?
