Before I was saved and when I was young, it was seeing attitudes like what happened on the first page of this thread, and I'd think, "Man I'd hate to have to live amongst these hypocrites, and they think I need prayer..." =P

yeah, kinda comical how the lawless love to make up their own rules as they go.
Not my rules, it's considered common decency NOT to derail a thread. As an OP you set the topic of the thread, and this thread isn't about the name of the LORD, but about the inconsitent use of Bible book names by some people. I mean: use the english names or the hebrew ones, but not something in between, please. Thats's all, thank you.

to whom are you referring as "lawless"?

thanks for responding, if you choose to do so.

Yes, rucah Hakodesh should be said holy spirit of God
YAHweh is fine, thats how you say it
Elohim - God is easier and clearer

we want a clear Bible
Transliteration is self-aggrandizement (See how much I know) religion)
That is what the JEws did,
Jesus spoke clearly

he called the holy spirit THE WIND POWER from God

teaching Hebrew is not important now but the aramaic Bible is wonderful since the origin came from different source so it is a good comparison of King james

if they would just take out all those Hebrew words that confuse things you would have a great Bible.

You can get close to an aramaic Bible accuracy by
getting a free Bible online
theword.net
and clicking on the words to see their meanings

this is just about as good without the hassle of figuring out the hebrew transliterations.

So there are three great names of God:

El-Shaddai = How the world of Abraham knew Him (it meant El = He or That , Shaddai = Who Walks, Talks, Is, Guides, Makes)
Yahweh = Obviously, this is the name that God gave to Moses that the Lord's name is I AM WHO I AM (or I WILL BE WHO I WILL BE)
Yehoshua = aka Yeshua, Yeshus, Yesu, Jesu, Jesus. This is the highest name in all of creation, even higher than I AM, because the Father has exalted the Son and His Name above ALL other Names. (Yehoshua means I AM Saves)

you are all making a joke about truth, Yahweh;s Name has been removed and many times in Scripture He is clearly mad about it, yet it is but a laughing matter to many.
No, your blindness, and stubborness in clinging to something this silly, is a laughing matter...........if it wasn't so sad.

Agree or disagree, but saying this is downright dangerous.

No, it's not all good. Maybe you like making fun of people for their beliefs and that's why you're here, I understand, like being a psychiatrist to control people. It's all good. God can redeem that quality in you as he makes all things new. You will one day get worked over by someone who should be kind, and instead they tear you down for what matters to you, and to God. (We can know that it matters to God because he specifically says so in his word). Until then, you just don't know how thin the ice is you step on. God loves you for who you are, and we can too.

So you want an answer that doesn't derail YOUR thread OP? How about this....not everything in scripture was written in Hebrew! There, answered!

Now you answer this...
Who are you to DEMAND, with such cruelty, that a BROTHER change the way he talks, just to suit YOU!?!?

You think so? You think it is wrong to point out to someone that they are in error? You didn't say it could be, or might be, you said it IS dangerous. I suppose you passing judgement isn't? I guess I should pay more attention to you, huh? After all, it seems as if you are the one to sit in judgement on me.

Whatever.

But when Peter was come to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was to be blamed.
Paul didn't seem to think there is anything wrong with trying to straighten out a believer.

People who observe the Torah claim we who don't are lawless. It is an absurd insult as the law of Christ that we do follow far exceeds the Mosaic laws. The Laws of Christ state if your eye offends you pluck it out. If you think lustful thoughts you have committed adultery. If you wish a neighbor dead you are guilty of Murder and so on. They, just like the pharisees love to feel like they are more perfect than others and point their bony fingers at all they can yet they are the ones that pick and choose the laws they wish to obey and the ones they won't.

The sacred name movement seeks to write the specific name of God but they can not agree which is the sacred name! It is hilarious as they choose the sacred name while others in that movement pick a different sacred name, like a dog chasing it's tail.

Yes, our Lord Jesus certainly raised the bar, didn't He?
I think He was pointing out the Law's true intention.

If we think "do" and "don't do" covers sin, we have what I call a shallow sin concept.
As you pointed out, so much sin occurs in the mind.
Our hearts are desperately wicked. David got that when he said

Search me, God, and know my heart;test me and know my anxious thoughts.
See if there is any offensive way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting. (Ps. 139:23-24 NIV)

How great is our God to have saved us while we were still sinners! ♥

(...) You will one day get worked over by someone who should be kind, and instead they tear you down for what matters to you, and to God. (...)
Oh they tried that already here, and failed. Because every time they try to get at me, that's what I'll say: 'it's all good.'
You wanna doubt my integrity? That's fine... it's all good...
