Fourth person in the Trinity?

So my friend Trisha today informed me that some Catholic churches are starting to acknowledge Mary as the fourth person of the Holy Trinity. This is just a speculation, but I've heard rumors, it might not be true.

However, what do you guys think about it? I personally think God needs to sweep the Earth already..

I wouldnt be suprised if it was true with the way the world is but i would totally disagree... dont get me wrong mary is an important biblical figure but when it comes down to it shes only human.

I do not understand. The word ''trinity'' means ''a group of three persons or things''. Adding someone else makes that ''a group of four persons'' which is a quartet.

Why not throw in John the Baptist and make it a quintet? Seriously????? Oh is it because she's a woman? That type of push would make sense however not expected from the RCC. All of it wrong (didnt think I had to say it but you never know when the trolls are lurking under the bridges)

Imposible to have 4 a trinity. Wouldn't it be called Quadnity? if there was 4?..... as we all know the first 3 letters T R I in words meaning 3. like for example:

1. TRI angle: 3 sides to form a triangular shape or even a music instrument.
2. TRIo: again meaning 3 in a group or band.
3. TRIacid: Containing three different acid radicals in the molecule.
4. TRIannual: Occurring every three years; lasting for three years; equal to triennial.
5. TRIanthous: Having three flowers.

I think you get the idea. But I would like to see how the Catholics pull this one off, and make it a legit lie, and adapt it in there religion, and try get away with it.

The problem with the Catholic church is that they see Mary as superior to God because she gave birth to Jesus. Many of the people are unable to see and understand that she was only Jesus' earthly mother, but never became a spiritual one. The Catholic churches in Spain use a completely different versions of the Bible, where they actually do state that Jesus reveals himself to Mary and both ascend to Heaven.

However these people will believe anything the priest says, well, because he is a priest. They won't grab a Bible by themselves, the lies are sufficient for them, sadly.

If anyone will be able to make 4 fit into 3, it will be the Catholics!
They turned a command for Church leaders to be married into having to be single.
They turned a simple remembrance into actual body and blood
No one on earth is to be called Father yet they make...well, you get the picture!

I think that saying Mary manifests God is not understanding God at all. Christ is God's son, with a mortal mother. That does not make the mortal mother God.

I also don't think that it is impossible that God has not manifested himself in our world at other times than as Christ and the Holy Spirit. There is no where in the bible that states He has only three manifestations. It only states that these are God.

Before the "Trinity" became dogma, it was not taught as a doctrine/belief within the early Church until late in the 2nd and 3rd centuries.

It does not surprise me that the mother of Jesus would become deity. If you consider that the Pope is justified as being deity and sanctioned by the Holy Trinity; similarly, Mary may rise from sainthood to deity.

Curious to this subject is that only one other major civilization had this concept modified within its religious sects. Consider the Egyptian culture, Isis married her brother, Osiris, and she conceived Horus, they were a "sacred trinity" to the Egyptians. The Egyptians modified/restored this belief as a root and offspring of Nimrod and his wife Semiramis.

The Trinity Shield cannot be broken neither added to or the Nicene Creed would become void just as it would have been if they exalted the Pope to member of the Trinity. Mary may become cohort to the Pope in deification. There are many changes happening within the Roman Catholic Church, which might cause decisions that are in direct conflict with past beliefs. There is a “dark augury” concerning the last pope.

Personally, this is an excellent thread and requires further study concerning the Antichrist's plan for deceiving humanity; i.e., Antichrist will need a mother figure just a Jesus had a mother.

Not everyone's good at Maths. I'm not but I know a Trinity can only include three persons being one God - Father, Son, Spirit.

How can you have 4 persons in a Trinity???
