.........and so FULFIL the LAW of Christ.
Gal.6Brethern,if a man be overtaken in a fault,HE WHICH ARE SPIRITUAL,restore such a one in the spirit of meekness; CONSIDERING THYSELF,LEST THOU ALSO BE TEMPTED (spiritual failings)

I'm my own life I tend to hold things close to myself, not let others see my struggles!
However that said,we should be aware of how and what folks tell us!
Sometimes it is a cry for help without say"Help me,please".

I get it if they don't want to share but..........
IF THEY DO,THEN LET US BEAR EACH'S BURDEN IN LOVE AND MEEKNESD!

“CHAPTER 6

(A.D. 58)

RESTORATION
1 Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault (pertains to moral failure, and is brought about because one has ignorantly placed himself under Law; such a position guarantees failure), you who are Spiritual (refers to those who understand God’s Prescribed Order of Victory, which is the Cross), restore such an one (tell him he failed because of reverting to Law, and that Victory can be his by placing his Faith totally in the Cross, which then gives the Holy Spirit latitude to work, Who Alone can give the Victory) in the spirit of meekness (never with an overbearing, holier than thou attitude); considering yourself, lest you also be tempted (the implication is that if we do not handle such a case Scripturally we, thereby, open the door for Satan to attack us in the same manner as he did the failing brother).”

“2 Bear ye one another’s burdens (refers to sharing the heartache and shame of one who has spiritually failed), and so fulfil the Law of Christ (which is Love!).

3 For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing (refers to a Believer who puts himself above the one who has failed in his own eyes), he deceives himself. (This presents one who has the conceited idea he is morally and spiritually superior to what he actually is.)”

That and the fact that EVERYTHING you post @MessageOfTheCross is always accompanied by Jimmy Swaggart quotes and references......
Personally speaking, from the outside looking in, I don't think there is really anyone on CC that takes your post serious..........

(on the "lighter" side)
Where you see 4 "staunch" Irish Catholics?
You'll usually "see" a "fifth!"

There were 4 Baptist Preachers in a "closed door self help" session with each other.
Wanting to help each other bear each others burdens.
The first one sez? "I got a problem with alcohol."
The second one sez? "Well?" "I have a problem with scantily clad women."
The third one sez? "I have a problem with gambling."
The fourth one sez? "I have a problem with gossip."
"And, I can't WAIT to get out of here!" :p

and you equate Swaggarts renderings with the Holy Spiriti?

best not to reply to you at all which is what I do, but in this case, you seem to think someone here has committed a crime against the Holy Spirit

news flash: Jimmy has committed many crimes agains the Holy Spirit

is he still saved?

are his 'crimes' forgiven?

Yes, it is truly an accomplishment to be able to steer someone away from the wrong path, to be able to build them up for the right reasons, to be able to protect them, and encourage them. Unfortunately it can be difficult at times due to our own weaknesses and insecurities, or difficulties in reading the situation correctly. But mighty and wise is he who makes the effort and sticks his neck out for someone else, and brings them back to right path, protects them, or imparts sound wisdom to them. It is not a task for the immature and proud.

I regret profoundly my inability at times to have the strength, courage, wisdom or compassion to either defend, encourage or pick up my brother when fallen. It is a shame, and very little impresses me more then when i see others do it, ...although it truly does not happen enough.

The sign of a real man, is one who has the strength not only to support himself, but others also! The coward and weakling does the opposite, he thinks only of himself, ridicules, or preys upon the naive and unsuspecting.

Thanks for the post IFH!
