i honestly dont think paul literally meant to boast about ourselves. jesus had every right to boast about himself but he never once bragged or even gave credit to himself. if you wish to boast about gifts god gave you go ahead but remember the lord giveth but can also take away. besides there is nothin about i can boast about. anything good about me that might be worth boasting about was given to me from god and is not my own so i cannot boast

have you read nothing I posted? It's not about boasting in yourself, boast in weakness, boast in lowly estate is boasting in the Lord

Jeremiah 9:23
23Thus says the LORD, "Let not a wise man boast of his wisdom, and let not the mighty man boast of his might, let not a rich man boast of his riches; 24but let him who boasts boast of this, that he understands and knows Me, that I am the LORD who exercises loving-kindness, justice and righteousness on earth; for I delight in these things," declares the LORD.…


There is a right kind of boasting - not boasting for boasting sake - but who God is and what He's doing
