I thought Al Gore gave us the internet, am I mistaken?

No man gave us the internet...the computer can either be used for His Glory or for Satan's ...it depends on how one uses it...make the choice......

A syringe can be used for heroine...or...for a vaccine or medicine. Things have no reasoning, no logic, no concept of good or evil (or concept of anything for that matter). How you use it is how it matters. Words can be used for good or for evil, even the same word used for both. Like it says about food, nothing that goes into you is unclean, but what comes out of you is what is clean or not. Nothing you use is good or evil unless YOU use it for good or evil intentions. Clothing, words, books, tv, internet, cars, knives, guns, stuffed animals, water heaters, rice, it's all nuetral, it's YOUR intent and actions (what comes out of you) that is clean or unclean.

I believe that the two (miracles and medicine) are in agreement. When I thank God for my daily bread, I am confessing that even though I worked to get a paycheck to buy bread, it still came from the hand of God. When we pray for healing, we are recognizing that every good thing come from God. We are prepared to see a miracle and willing to give God praise if he uses a doctor. I have seen at time miraculous healing and at other times (more often, I confess) God use a doctor to heal. I praise him for both, though the former certainly has a greater impact on the nonbeliever. I am concerned that our medical science is becoming arrogant, especially when the abandon the creed to "help and not hurt" and take the power of life and death into their hands.

I just want to say, for the record, that google is the most effective Bible study program ever written, EVER.

Any little passage... just a PHRASE even... from ANY version of the Bible, and Google will pull it up. It's really helpful for those of us disinclined against rote memorization. But once I quote the same passage enough times, I do eventually remember it.

Yep true.

The time is coming in many countries where they will try to ban the Word of God. But its dissemination is already out of control.

The time may come when all the techniques they have developed for disseminationg dodgy porn are used to disseminate bible doctrine.

some of the more mature believers in this room would be encouraged by me to post their opinions on a post about homosexuals adopting.I have spoken up against it but if any of you feel led by the spirit to contribute to the post in the rebuking of it this would be greatly encouraged.God bless
