Jesus answered. "No one is good--except God alone."

In Hebrew idiom, Good and Evil means all things. What is spoken of is not absolute omniscience such as God alone has; but an unfolding omniscience whereby, without God's direction, man acquires an ever increasing capacity to destroy himself.

Ge 31:24
24 And God came to Laban the Syrian in a dream by night, and said unto him, Take heed that thou speak not to Jacob either good or bad.
KJV

Here the idiom is negated. Laban is told not to say anything to Jacob i.e. Don't try to influence him or turn him back.

What is good, and what is evil? What's your opinion?
Opinions are a dime a dozen. Are you interested in what the Bible has to say about this?

Good is all that conforms to the character of God, and evil is the exact opposite. God is Light, and in Him is no darkness at all (meaning all purity, perfection, and goodness is in God). "Darkness" is a metaphor for sin and evil, therefore Satan's kingdom is called "the kingdom of darkness".

When Jesus said "There is none good but God" He was absolutely correct, since there is none among men who is as righteous as God. But at the same time He was challenging the one who addressed Him as "good Master (Teacher)". What Jesus was asking is "Do you believe that I am God, or do you think that I am merely a good human rabbi?" Of course, the man who called Him "good Master" eventually walked away from his salvation.

Anything that is a sin is evil.

Anything that is holy is good.
