Grace has to be the one of the most used yet least understood terms of the Bible. Most evangelicals will immediately spout out ," the unmerited favor of God", but this is a vapid understanding. Yes it is an unmerited favor from God but it's so much more that I think this term cheapens the depth of what Grace truley is.
If I see you drop something so I pick it up and give it back to you, that is also an unmerited favor.
So what is the truth of Grace? I definitely it like this; the real presence of God via the Holy spirit patiently and actively teaching and leading us through life directing our path and tempering us with trials, providing our needs, correcting our failures, and moving circumstances in our lives to perfect us, and prepare us for when we meet God face to face. This is holy God condescending to directly mentor us into what we shall all one day be.

Yeshua said, He came to have Mercy upon us. The word "Mercy" was common throughout the entire 4 Gospel because the Jews who accepted Christ as the Messiah knew He was here by the ultimate Mercy of Almighty God. From the miracles Yeshua performed, to the casting out of demonic entities, to carrying His own cross to His death all exemplified the ultimate Mercy God had upon all of us.

I said all of that to lead into my personal view of how the term "Grace" is being falsely used today.

Just on this website is the perfect example of variations of Grace being misinterpreted. We have Grace that has no limits at all, Grace that allows us to sin without ever feeling condemned, Grace that is incorrectly being applied to explain the work of Christ on the CROSS, and Grace that is defined as the ultimate guarantee in our eternal salvation.

And yet, NOWHERE does God in human form teaching us the absolute "Truth" concerning how He wants us to live, how He wants us to accept and view Him, how He wants us to define His examples, ever applied "GRACE" to His purpose. NO, He specified He had MERCY upon us. And that Mercy God extended is still 100% active today. We are not living in the dispensation of Grace, we are living in the extension of Mercy until God comes back to unleash His "WRATH." And anyone who has ignored the words of Christ, for their own selfish false interpretations of Paul and the message of Grace, clearly have based their salvation on human point of view while blatantly ignoring the own words of God who explained it to all of us "MERCY."

The moment I am in a church and hear this false so-called prophetic message of Grace, I begin looking for the possessed. For only the ignorant and possessed could be able to sit under the preaching that gives us a license to sin. These seeker friendly churches are nothing but a den of liars!! And when you apply "TRUTH" to that body of co-habitaters, you get defensiveness, walls, excuses, and false interpretations of the Bible.

The message of Grace being preached today is an absolute farce. It goes directly against what God revealed to us while here on earth. He preached "MERCY!!"

Peter was emphatic, this Jesus "WHOM YE CRUCIFIED"..immediately we can see this is not a message of Grace. And this is the example from Luke how the original church operated. Peter put the blame where it belonged!! A message of Grace would have never done as such. It would have stated: it's ok, you had the right to kill God because we are under Grace that even allows murder and all sins. So please feel comforted and go sin some more!!

What an absolute farce and lie from the Adversary!!

Today in my Bible reading in e-Sword, I looked into the definition of grace in one regard, the one used most in the wWord, and it is wonderful.

When God gives His grace to you or to me, He has favored us, nothing more, nothing less. He favors us with His works for one, and this is wonderful,. He favors us with His love and care. Oh that you who believe you live in His mercy would recieve this grace also…...I have adn do always.

I agree. God's grace is unmerited favor. And how well we know we didn't deserve it. He didn't have to provide a way back into right standing with Him but He did and that is where grace comes in. I am, as I am sure all are, so thankful to have been brought out of the darkness into His light!

You just described the minisry of the HOLY SPIRIT!
Grace IS unmerited favor is towards one who has NO merit.
The bible says we are saved BY GRACE.....yes, exactly, because there is nothing in us that merits any grace from God.

I like what one of our elders says, “every morning he wakes up and he is not in hell. It is a great day”

He praises God because he understand this is what he deserves.

Yes. Grace is more than someone picking up something we dropped

It is the fact we are even able to walk the earth (God had every right to wipe mankind from the earth when they sinned

It is a fact every man woman and chid who ever lived (with the exception of Jesus) deserves to spend eternity in Hell with satan. Because they have not met Gods standard (for all have sinned and fall short)

It is a fact we have been shown Gods mercy beyond imagination that God removed the barrier between God and his creation (the penalty of sin) so we can even have the chance to recieve the gifts we continually recieve from him because we do not deserve even one blessing, let alone th emany upon many he has bestowed on us

It is a fact that we continually even after we are saved, prove how undeserving we are. Because we continue to fail to live up to Gods standard. So the mere fact God does not say he has had enough pulls his grace gift of eternal life from aeach and ever person who has ever been saved and continued to fail to deserve his great salvation.

And for all these precious things, we should daily look up to God praising him for his mercy and forgiveness, that we too deserve to be in hell as we stand, And for this reason. IT IS A GREAT DAY.
