Do read Psalm 83. God called them gods because they walked in sin, thus being their own "gods". Take note of verse 7, "But ye shall die like men..." If u walk in sin u are the servant of Satan.

It is Ps. 82, not 83. sorry!

in John 10, it does not seem that Jesus is using this verse to say what you are writing...He seems to say that those to whom the word of GOd comes are gods, being made and formed in God's image...

Just read how Jesus uses the verse John 10: 22-39

Even in that Psalm where it says "They know nothing, they understand nothing, they walk about in darkness; all the foundations of the earth are shaken" (right before this verse, it gives a feel of what we have done and Adam did, being made in God's image being the foundation that has 'ruined' in a sense this world through sin...think of GOd's image sinning, and you get all the chaos in this world...

God called them gods because they were His judges!:

The gods — Judges and magistrates are called gods, because they have their commission from God, and act as his deputies.

The word Elohim can mean "judges", it doesn't always mean a supernatural "god" being.

Are u saying that Ps. 82 verses 1-5&7 do not pertain to verse 6? I believe scripture.
Ex.20:3 (De.5:7), "Thou shalt have no other gods before me."
Zep. 2:11, "The Lord will be terrible unto them: for he will famish all the gods of the earth..."
I guess the judges (gods) are exempt from this?

col 2:9-10 for in christ all the fullness of deity dwells in bodely form and you have been given fullness in christ.
I do not believe we are god's, this scripture above is a remarkable statement, I think it is rather important to count myself as nothing since it says you have been given fullness, it is given, it is given, it is given, apart from that you are nothing so you are not a god, ultimately he will be the only God of all eternaty. to say you are a god is unmistakingly Pantheism not Theism. for Panthists all comes from God and life comes from God so the world is God and we are all anointed christs. I believe this is compleately false. if this view is to be consistent it will contradict the Bible. God is self sastaining were as we must be sustained by God. I believe anyone who thinks they are a god is in massive error with God.
