the Only times we find an outpouring of the Holy Spirit in the Bible was when all was in accordance, where there was no schism in the Body( not compromise) but that the truth was presence. all agreed togethe"

I agree.

And alot of us are not always in accordance to be frank!

Love, Self Control, Patience, Goodness, Peace, Gentleness, Kindness, Joy.

I cant say, to be Honest, that im always in good heart. Hence - We need Grace at times, none of us are perfect.

I pretty much agree with most of the postings in here. First and foremost, for those who believe and trust in our Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior, we are all brothers and sisters in Christ, and we should be treated as such. The debates do get passionate, and sometimes, out of frustration in the inability to get others to see our viewpoint, we say things that we shouldn't. I am guilty as well. The one thing that offends me the most however, is the name calling. There is no place for it here. Humor is OK and should be appreciated in the proper context. A good example of proper postings are those submitted by Shad. I have never seen him disrespect anyone or result to namecalling. He responds to the posting contents and not towards the person, in a respectful, and considerate manner. There are others that do so as well. We should try to pattern ourselves after these good examples.

I didn't know where else to express my grief concerning a web site that I found. I was curious about a posting that mentioned withsome admiration a Curtis Hudson. I looked it up and found the website at www.amazinggracebaptistchurchkjv.com. I was shocked. This church had a book burning page and a heretics to avoid page that includes people like Billy Graham. I think of what any non-Christian would think and why so many hate Christianity and it grieves me to find something that would confirm their worse fears. I hope you will join with me in praying about this, that God would allow his love to be seen in us. I am not asking for compromise, I just believe that we should not be devoting so much time and energy to destroying one another.

The key is three-fold. One to recognise when a matter is an honest difference between two strong Christians--in which case we take care to treat the other with respect but pursue learning from one another. The second is to recognise when one of the parties is a new or weak believer, in which the stronger must treat the weaker with gentleness and grace. The third is to recognise when one of the parties is not a believer, in which you must discern when the discussion is fruitful and when it becomes fruitless. All of this should be done in love.
Very nice post ;)
There is also forgiveness, even for those times it does get personal.

Personally I hold Billy Graham in high regard, he allowed the Lord to use him, greatly. If one can witness the salvation of just one soul she/he would be so very blessed! Imagine having so many come to the Lord at the revivals he'd put on... To witness the transformation of many lost souls... how AWESOME is that! & I agree with miktre, Charisenexcelcis, great post!
