Notice how humble Jesus is riding on a donkey and how the Pope exalts himself while being carried on his throne.

Whoever wishes to become the greatest in the kingdom of God will lower himself and become the least, this pope has earned his reward and received his glory but it will be nothing compared to those who lowered themselves and became the least receiving no honor and no recognition. The strongest among you may not wear a crown

Actually, the inverted cross has been a Christian symbol since its first use, as recognition of Peter's martyrdom for Christ.

My hunch is that this is a non existent document.
If you put in Baltimore Catechism into Amazon for example you get plenty of entries.
If you put in New York Catechism, you get zip.
It was written and published in the 1930's . . .
Why isn't it being disseminated like the Baltimore Catechism?
Neither Ebay or Amazon has it for sale.
Please don't turn me into a Catholic Apologist by posting spurious documents.

The New York Catechism says:

"The pope takes the place of Jesus Christ on earth. . . . By divine right the pope has supreme and full power in faith and morals over each and every pastor and his flock. He is the true Vicar of Christ, the head of the entire church, the father and teacher of all Christians. He is the infallible ruler, the founder of dogmas, the author of and the judge of councils; the universal ruler of truth, the arbiter of the world, the supreme judge of heaven and earth, the judge of all, being judged by no one, God himself on earth.”

The Catholic Catechism by: Cardinal Pietro Gasparri (the New York Catechism, 1930's).

And pope Leo XIII, in his encyclical, The Reunion of Christendom (1885), declared that the pope holds "upon this earth the place of God Almighty."

Act 17:22 Then Paul stood in the midst of the Areopagus and said, “Men of Athens, I perceive that in all things you are very religious; 23 for as I was passing through and considering the objects of your worship, I even found an altar with this inscription:

TO THE UNKNOWN GOD.

Therefore, the One whom you worship without knowing, Him I proclaim to you:24 “God, who made the world and everything in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands. 25Nor is He worshiped with men’s hands, as though He needed anything, since He gives to all life, breath, and all things. 26 And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings, 27 so that they should seek the Lord, in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us; 28 for in Him we live and move and have our being, as also some of your own poets have said, ‘For we are also His offspring.’ 29 Therefore, since we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Divine Nature is like gold or silver or stone, something shaped by art and man’s devising. 30 Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent, 31 because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained. He has given assurance of this to all by raising Him from the dead.”

Actually, the inverted cross has been a Christian symbol since its first use, as recognition of Peter's martyrdom for Christ.
The inverted cross was considered a Christian symbol by Roman Catholics, based on an ancient tradition that the apostle Peter was crucified upside down. Roman Catholics also believe that the Pope can trace his authority all the way back to Peter. In more recent times, however, it is common for the inverted cross to be used as a symbol of atheism, humanism, and the occult. Inverted crosses have appeared in horror movies and black metal bands have used an inverted cross to call attention to their supposed devotion to Satan. The cross, a symbol of Christ, has been turned upside down to become a symbol of the devil.
