Many Christians see Holy Spirit the same as spiritist see wuigee board. How often have you poked our proded at Holy Spirit to spell something out or move to yes or no on your wuigee board heart? Theres nothing in the Bible to support this practice. Who said youd feel His feelings? Who said you could interpret His feelings? Who said you could present Him with choices and bother Him for an answer in your heart? "Should I go to the chevy dealer or ford dealer Holy Spirit?" And you pressure and test Him? He is God. There is a big difference in asking and inquiring verses pressuring Him like Hes just the wuigee board spirit to be conjured.

Its really testing God because we plan to base our actions on feelings we pressure from Holy Spirit. I believe He speaks in our hearts but approaching Him as though Hes feelings are on demand as though He answers to us is treating God like a butler.

idk what on earth your talking about. The holy spirit has never been an Ouija board to us Christians. An ouija Board is used to contact the dead or a demon the holy spirit is our teacher, our guide our friend. He speaks to us all in different ways and some of those ways is through his own feelings and yes we ask for his help because the scriptures say we can but you don't seem to understand how this works because you have a very strange view of what you think ppl do with him.

He is God. Not ask jeeves. Christians do it so carelessly. Holy Spirit is God, not your little buddy who answers on demand.

Biggest unbiblical unreasonable statement :"I felt the Spirit say". Its like Christians are gnostic still. This kinda statement is no where in the Bible. People make up this idea Holy Spirit speaks in feelings. God speaks in words. Good heavens Jesus is the Word; God created heaven and earth by His words and you have the idea Holy Spirit's voice is feelings? I challenge you to prove it with Scripture and not your own gnostic reasoning.

Look buddy, Here is how I see it. To me God is not merely an all powerful being to be feared respected and obeyed, he is very precious and very endearing to me and his heart is the most beautiful and most rarest treasure in all of heaven. Now I developed a very intimate relationship with him and he calls me his child and he has allowed me to ask anything of him and he always answers not because he has to but because he wants to.

I feel safe with him I feel warm just imagining me being in his arms I sometimes have a tear or two just thinking of how amazing he is and how deeply I love him. He speaks to me quite often in more ways than one, and even when he is being silent my heart still yearns for him and still loves him. I'm sorry if you don't have such a bond with him but if you have an intimate relationship with him then you will understand that we can go to him for anything and he will take care of us. granted sometimes the answer is no or wait when we ask him things but its much more than about asking things its about the relationship itself.

The communion of the Holy Spirit is more like a partnership. A relationship - not a board game. And He speaks in more ways than you can even imagine. And to all of our senses. If you are open!

I hear from the Holy Spirit who speaks in words. Who speaks clearly through His gifts even in my heart. He is not confused with conscience. He is God. He is not the author of confusion. He is the take your sandals off, dont answer back, He is theLiving God. He is not prompted by questions to answer my every wish; He is God for me to perform His every wish. He is not tested. He is not submissive to me. He is not conjured by begging like I could bring Him up or relinquish Him at will. He is not for me to use, I am for Him to use and I've given my life to Him.

Most people know about quijii boards, not to mess with them, it is a false idol. But God is our creator and wants his children to lean on him.Lean not to your own understanding, but in all your ways acknowledge him and he shall direct our paths. mabey
people do not want to wait on him, so they turn to things they should not. and have to learn the hard way.

1 Kings 19:12-13 ...the LORD was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice. And it was so, when Elijah heard it, that he wrapped his face(...) And, behold, there came a voice unto him, and said, What doest thou here, Elijah?

That is the same small voice that we all have and cries NO inside when we sin. God is not pushy, the less people obey it, the less they hear it, because they quench the Spirit. God rejoices when we want to be guided by Him, even for small things. He likes to communicate with us, after all Jesus is the Word of God.

Isaiah 58:2 Yet they seek me daily, and delight to know my ways, (...): they ask of me the ordinances of justice; they take delight in approaching to God.

John 10:27 My sheep hear my voice,...
Isaiah 28:29 ...the LORD of hosts, which is wonderful in counsel...
John 16:23 ...Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.

You don't seem to understand the point we all are trying to get across and apparently my input was not enough to help you understand. We go to him as a child not to have him submit to our every will, we ask and he decides the answer, in no way is he a wish granter and I highly doubt any Christian here sees him and the holy spirit as you are describing

Your are describing a stoic, demanding, dictator-type Father. "Do as I say or else!"

What of these Scriptures:
Whatever you ask in My name, that's what I will do. [John 14:13]
If you being evil (prone to sin) can give your children good gifts, how much more will I give my Holy Spirit to them who ask? [Luke 11:13]
Come to Me, all you who are laboring and I'll give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light. [Matt 11:28-30]
Where are your accusers? Neither do I condemn you. [John 8: 10 & 11]
You are my friends, if you do whatever I command you. [John 15:14]

Jesus is not a bully or a harsh father, brother jonathanbchristian. The Lord Jesus Christ lived by example for us, just like a loving father would for his children. Jesus lived and died for us WHILE WE WERE YET SINNERS. He showed us the way and calls us friends if we follow Him. He doesn't demand anything. He invites us. He stands at the door of our heart and knocks and calls to us. He's a Loving Shepherd and the sheep hear His sweet comforting Voice and are not afraid of Him.

The amount of times 'ouija' has been misspelled in this thread is slightly humorous.

Its actually a boardgame from Parker Brothers invented in the 1890's by a business man named Elijah Bond. If you ever took time to understand the science behind a Ouija board, you would realize there is absolutely nothing demonic at work at all. Unless of course you also believe in dowsing rods. Ouija boards and dowsing rods are just two examples of mystical items that seem to move of their own accord, when they are really being moved by the people holding them. The only mystery is not one of a connection to the spirit world, but of why we can make movements and yet not realize that we're making them.

In then end if you are going to say Ouija boards are satanic, then you probably think the same about things like the Harry Potter books and then well...I mostly ignore those folks, because I've found their form of evangelicalism doesn't really line up with anything biblical anyways. They tend to be more about tongues and faking seizures during prayer than Christ.

Still, small VOICE HEARD ETC. that means words. Does it say he felt the Spirit? No. Oh yes God is Lord and God not just a motivational speaker. It was God who was angry with Moses. It is God who will kill millions with plagues during the trib. I get sick of people who think God is a house cat to pet instead of the Lion of the trib of Judah. You want God to stay on the cross well He is on His throne. He already purchased you and if youre saved you said He is Lord. Cant believe He would make you do anything or ever judge you? God is God regardless of what you think. Love does not mean God relinquishes all He was and is to be on your level. Love means He is teriffying and awesome and transendent but He dies for fools who think He is just a good friend.
