The breathe of God is what I think it means. I am not sure. I don't know much about it. How do you recognize one.?

Ummmm....

I've never heard the phrase "holy spirit wind" before. God usually comes to us as a still, small voice. :)

He is probably referring to the unique event in the upper room on the Day of Pentecost. As far as we know that was the only time when this happened (Acts 2:1-3):

1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

2
And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

3
And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

The issue with that verse is it uses wind as a comparison, not as literal.
Or since the OP used "breath" also it could refer to John 20:22.
But the term Holy Spirit wind would be inaccurate since the Holy Spirit is never Called wind, just compared to it.
The only sites I found that seem to utilize this concept are "prophetic" sites. The main one of which only seems to "prophesize" over America to tell the Christians what a bunch of dirty sinners we all are.

The KJV translates Spirit as wind in John 3 but the
Douay Rheims Catholic Bible more correctly translates John 3:8 as

The Spirit breatheth where he will and thou hearest his voice:
but thou knowest not whence he cometh and whither he goeth.
So is every one that is born of the Spirit.

My experience (and for all others in my church) was that when
I received the indwelling Holy Spirit I spoke out in a new tongue.

"and thou hearest his voice"

Not only that but I also enjoy a wonderful revelation
of the Word of God as truth, but I also was instantly healed there
and then of all my addictions for cigarettes, marihuana, alcohol,
and amphetamines (speed).

It wasn't wind I experienced but the Spirit of power.

I experienced what I can only describe as a "wind stepping into me" the day I received Holy Spirit. Then another time a prophet prayed over me, and I felt "butterflies" coming up from my belly and filling me. I have no idea why I thought butterflies but that came to my mind.

Lots of amazing things the Lord will do to show His Presence and power.

Yes I was referring to the above context.

Related context... both the Hebrew word "ruach" and the Greek word "rhema" can be translated into English as "spirit", "wind" or "breath"; the concepts are related. I'd have to confirm with a language scholar, but I'd suggest that both are examples of onomatopoeia.

John Wesley said at aldersgate he experienced a "warning of the heart" when he finally truly believes salvation was by grace and not of works.

I have felt the Holy spirit walk with me often in my life and in many different ways.

As someone said earlier..,a small still voice.

However I have found that we should test all spirits for all small voices are NOT God.

People sometimes accept everything from a spiritual source and are lead astray, they begin to condemn others or themselves for "secret sins" these voice reveal. Instead of understanding the message of grace and love God shows us in His Bible....

others excuse their sins and think God doesn't notice, they beat their wives and steal from their neighbors and yet claim to be children of God.

Their god is not Jesus or the one in the Bible but Satan.

For me the Holy Spirit manifests in my life daily as a song of joy and praise in my heart. As long as I hear it, I know God is with me. And if it becomes silent,i stop and pray a,d find out why.....

Sometimes I walk in a pit before noticing the silence.

Well despite what modern charismatic movement followers may say, this event only happened once, twice if you count the spectacular parallel to the giving of the covenant at Mt Sinai. In Jerusalem it was the fulfilling of prophecy from Joel.

So I'll assume you're speaking euphemistically...?
